Hasn't taken Barca long to offload old Denis again has it? 2 season loan to Sevilla eh? Part of the Rakitic deal - wonder which club insisted on that part?

Just too lightweight I'm afraid, I reckon we did well to get a million for him.

Has talent but typically, he simply doesn't do enough to influence a game.

We gave him a chance a while back pre season, a big opportunity to put down a marker, but he just swanned around. I'm sure if he had shown up there, he would have been considered a genuine player for the first team squad, but afterwards we obviously didn't fight to keep him. I think he has enough to be a player, but not a City player.

I think that with the World Cup, one or two kids may be given a chance pre season & those who impress will catch the eye of the manager for the coming season. They should above all look like they really want it. Dennis didn't.

Apparently he did very well for the B team (7 goals, 11 assists) & even seemed above the league towards the end, but the manner of his contract meant that he would have to be registered for the first team next season, which was deemed too big a step for him (understandably).

Sevilla seems like a good move for him, honestly.
