Almost looks like he's been hacked with the amount of tweets.
If Fernando is coming in, he would be surplus to requirements. Does he fancy going back to Portugal?

just that it may be difficult since his national team manager is also the manager of that squad.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Would anyone be surprised if Garcia went ?
I wouldn't, even though he has been better of late; Fernando looks like a considerable upgrade.

Someone has to be sold. I wouldn't be shocked.

Yeah me neither. He has been much improved Javi but he's not quite good enough to start.
Either he or Rodwell has to be sold

Thought the same and Rodwell is protected as he's got a right to hold a place down not having done shit for 2 years simply by being English and homegrown, club trained/whatever else he can be designated as...handicapable, etc.
Sad for our dashing fucker Javi as he's done well to improve himself. Someone has to make up the numbers.
Cheers

Hart, Wright, Boyata, Clichy, Milner - those are the only 5 home grown players we need for our 21 man European squad. I'm still convinced Pellegrini has given up on Rodwell and he will either be loaned out or sold this summer.

If that's right then maybe we can unclench Rodwell from the teet that is City and get someone in to actually fucking play. If that's the case I'd much prefer to keep Javi if we're honestly choosing between the two.
cheers

Would you not just prefer to ditch both and sign players with potential who are capable now of 'doing a steady job' in rotation with the chance of developing into something more
I'd wished that was Rodwell, but I think that ship has sailed

I thought Garcia did well in the run out. I'd be willing to give him another season.
There are no guarantees for me and someone doing it more or less gets the nod from me.
Name a player we can get who is a atone cold lock to be markedly better than him?

New name linked to City: Keiren Westwood
"Manchester City are ready to make a surprise move for free-agent keeper Keiren Westwood as Joe Hart ’s new No.2.
Republic of Ireland star Westwood has left Sunderland and is looking for a club – with City keen to take him on as Costel Pantilimon heads out .
29-year-old Westwood has plenty of experience and may be ideal for the role and the fact there is no fee also helps City at this stage.
Far-travelled Westwood comes from Manchester and was with City as a kid, so it would be an emotional return for him.
Hart has now established himself as the top man under manager Manuel Pellegrini and Pantilimon’s desire to play elsewhere has created a problem."

Surprise surprise, would be a decent move, he could do a job, and of
course if he could solve a problem at the same time all the better!

Good to get a 2nd keeper who is 'home grown'. Wonder if he would also count as 'club trained' as he was here a reasonable length of time I think .
Re Garcia; I have no problem with him staying, but I wouldn't be surprised if he moves on, maybe as part of another deal. But if he's still here, I'm sure him & Fernando would be a nastily solid pair if needed.
