Balotelli will be invisible or he will destroy us with a flash of genius.

There, that's most possibilities covered.

Me too. There showing Mario on the Beeb now and although I like him as a personality I don't miss him as a player.

Maybe we should have a memorial for the Ox, Lallana and Milner. Only reason I could see playing welbeck is if they're all dead.

I think Hodgdon picks him for his enthusiasm and he can do a back-heel every now and then. I get it sometimes but by fuck, why is a lad who can't prove it for the Rags being allowed to attempt it for England?

Saying that, we can see how the England set-up operates and it's nothing to do with the player, it's all about the team(s).

PS. Just seeing Gerrard there he looks fucked. Not a good sight for me.

Not singing the national anthem should mean automatic dropping for the next game for me

Should be an interesting match - can Italy resist the temptation to defend their way to a point and actually attack since the group has just been blown open by Costa Rica.

I can see the reasoning behind that but imo, Sterling played like a 12 year old on amphetamines in the last game. I accept I could be totally wrong & he could be a matchwinner, but I wouldn't start him for that reason.

He's starting behind the striker rather than out wide - rumour is he's been impressive during training.

Welbeck for one. Few others just muttering. I know its silly but it really annoys me.

What a shot by Sterling though.

I stood and sang. If they can't there must be something wrong with them.

It's unlikely, but there might be some republicans in the side. You can be patriotic and despise the monarchy.

Winds me up like fuck when they can't be arsed giving some effort, Wiggy used to be the worst when Taggart had him. Was too busy singing my National Anthem.
