Perhaps, but considering they don't seem to have the most harmonious of locker rooms I don't think they need Mancini in there as well. What a big fuck you that would be to Adebayor, like "remember that guy you didn't get along with in City... yeah... uhm..."

There'd be plenty of tears and tantrums no doubt but he'd sort the wheat from the chaff and instill a winning mentality, which is what that club needs to get them where they want to be rather than having notions about bringing in a manager that they believe will play 'the Spurs way' whatever the fuck that is.

I don't know what Mancini is great at.

He will always be a City legend for turning a losing mentality into a winning one, &imo that is his claim to legend status which can never be denied.

The other stuff about scoring goals with Aguero, Silva, Dzeko, Balotelli, Silva, Toure, Nasri etc; if you don't you are fucking useless.

Pellegrini has just basically fucked up almost everything that team did, & won two trophies. He wouldn't have done it with fucking Southampton & neither would Mancini.

I would like to see what Bob can do in difficult circumstances.

He qualified for the CL with Lazio and reached the UEFA cup semi final in the same year under very difficult circumstances.

Means nothing to me mate.

I would like to see him in the thick of it, with limited resources, for a period of time, & see what he has to offer.

Pretty sure Prandelli just signed an extension. But then again, contracts mean nothing

Likewise.

I don't think it's a coincidence he leaves/gets sacked after Gala fail the FFP. He realizes he can't just buy buy buy there, which seems to be his answer.

I'll always appreciate him for winning the trophies that he did here but, like you said Ted, id like to see him prove himself somewhere where he can't just buy all the time in hopes of fixing problems

Lazio and Fiorentina. Problem solved.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I see where you're coming from, but Tottenham just had the "manager who treats his players in a bi-polar way"-experience with AVB, if I have understood some of the underlying reasons for his sacking correctly. I think what Tottenham needs is a manager who can work with what he has without alienating the players he doesn't favour, not really Mancini's style. Never has been. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a great manager, but it'd just be such a poor fit at the mo.

To be honest, I'm not really too bothered about Mancini's next job. Like to see him do well but that's about it. Loved him whilst he was here and brought us the first trophies for years but he no longer works for us.

Ummm, limited resources? Fiorentina won the Coppa Italia under very difficult circumstances. Asmentioned above, he did the similar with Lazio and after winning cups with ALL his subsequent teams you need him to prove himself at a team with limited resources?

How many trophies has he got now?

Not bad for a manager who needs to prove himself. He'd obviously be looking at the mid-table and thinking - 'Never done that before, better prove myself'.

Jeez!!!

Don't bother pointing out anything before three years ago. This phips cunt hasn't a breeze.

You're right ted, he basically instills winning yet doesn't have a style of play.

Fair play to him, as far as trophies go, his cv is top notch.

You're right. I should just learn to take a deep breath or something.

Fuck me it's the return of the God squad, where you have to translate every post into 3 languages & check for errors.

I mentioned Martinez & the guy at Southampton imposing a style on those teams. In Italy, teams play like fucking Italian teams. Here, guess what, they don't.

I would like to see if Mancini can do that, HERE , with limited resources, not with a bunch of Italians, who already play like Italians, in Italy, where the league is generally shit & anything anyone does, means absolutely fuck all to me.

Thank fuck he's gone. Every simple conversation becomes a chore when it's about Mancini.

And Hughes before him.

It's just the way we are I think... well, since we felt we should be challengers anyway.
