Not as far as my reading of his work goes?

As a psychologist & trained counsellor there is more than a 'germ of truth' in this quote!

Yeah, I just don't like Paolo Coelho. Or rather, I've had bad experiences with people who liked his books. I've got nothing against him personally. He's ok in my book.

Being adopted doesn't increase the risks of any of the shit you mentioned. I'd like to see the multitude of studies that show such stats on a global basis. I don't think you'll find them but I'll wait to see what you dig up.

And yes I have two adopted children and have done some research on the topic back in the 1990s.

Regardless, I am glad the consensus is that I'm a tiresome prick. Badge of "honour."

Yes, logic would indicate that"not being adopted" would have a much higher risk incidence rate for the same group of kids!

I don't know your children but statistics being what statistics are, they're not applicable in any individual case are they?

I thought the issue with adopted kids was a general consensus thing, if I'm wrong then I'm glad to change the above statement.

Quick google came up with this, although that's a very low number of people: http://consumer.healthday.com/kids-heal ... 79965.html

Doesn't change anything about Balotelli though.

Balotelli being adopted has zero to do with anything.

I do think that the circumstances of his case of adoption have effected him a little though.

His parents didn't want him and then the second he found relative fame and had the prospect of earning a lot (his early teens) they tried to get back in touch. Understandably he really didn't like that...

I don't think this applies to the vast majority of adopted kids though.

I think a bigger issue for him was growing up in the spotlight as a black kid in a very racist country. Can't see how that wouldn't effect you really.

Tell that to his dad who keeps bugging him now that he's become famous.

Ha!

Seriously, for what it's worth, you made me rethink my view of the whole issue. I do think that concerning Balotelli, it's a valid point to bring up his background of being adopted, but I understand your point. It honestly hadn't struck me that there existed a lot of prejudices against adopted children (I googled) and I can't imagine how much I would like to punch someone in face that's predujiced against me just because I live without my biological parents, if that had been me. You live you learn. Thanks for this.

Let's not adopt Fabregas to our club.

So Fabregas was all like, "yeah I'll go online to show a close friend of mine how I look in Chelsea gear because I know how much he wants to see how I look like playing for chelsea. I mean, it's not gay or anything, he just fancies to know how I look like in different kits of clubs that I have played, play or will play for. I sure hope he doesn't take a photo of the screen instead of just print screen, because print screen is much better quality if he wants forward it to some total strangers so that it can go viral on the internet."

Yes, because that's how the world works. You photo your screen nowadays, why use print screen when the quality of cameras on cell phones are nowadays so similar to early 90s video quality, the unequivocally best picture quality there has ever been.

You move on, I'm staying in this thread. Hmpf.

is that the interface from windows 3.11?

Why didn't Fabregas just selfie himself instead of using what seems to be some sort of shareware from the 1990s?
