Lequipe reporting we've reached a deal with Sagna giving him a three year contract. I never know how medicals work in a World Cuppre season. Do we take the risk before or wait till after? If the latter another club could snatch him from us. I think strictly speaking he's an Arsenal player till June 1 anyway.

I would have thought, with all this world cup business, he might have done it already before sorting out the detail. Maybe.

Classy player with more to offer the game. That sort of experience can be invaluable on the training ground even of he didn't get many games.

I'd also have (30 year old) Andres Iniesta at City and wouldn't be bothered if it was on a three year deal.

Pirlo or Xavi here, scary...

City talking to Porto about Mangela in Jan, fail to make agreement. City & PSG both rumoured to be still chasing him. Mangela says he would rather sign for Chelsea as it's in London. A few days later, PSG bid £50 mil to take Luiz from Chelsea.

What would be the most likely outcome here ?

Perfectly fair point Ted but their priority is a goal scorer isn't it? How much will Costa cost? We are looking beyond Mangala mind you just in case.

Benatia is saying his agent is talking to clubs such as us, wheras Roma suggest he's going nowhere. If Roma are correct, & Mangela turns out to be Chelsea bound, Marwood will get some proper shit.

Benatia's clearly trying to better himself by talking his way out of the club. Pissed because the club said no pay increase. Nice to hear him talk about three great clubs in for him; Barca Bayern and us. No mention of the Rags in his quote even though the fucking Express gave the impression they were mentioned.

Wouldn't be that impressed if I was a Roma fan, TBH. But I'm Lazio, as they used to have the same kit as us, so feck 'em.

With all this shit about yaya going on I would definitely take a serious look at Pogba (probably would anyway) - he looks to me like a younger and of course less experienced version of Yaya, who at 10 years younger has a long career ahead of him. I see Chelsea are linked with him today.

On Feranado, someone on Wikipedia seems to think it's a done deal

Why would he mention the rags when talking about great clubs?

Globesporte reporting that Benatia's agent is in advanced talks with Barca which are very positive. No surprise if true.
