I think he did a sterling job & I'm absolutely disgusted with the board & the way they handled the recent events (I honestly thought those days had gone). To me if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Do I think Mancini is the man for the job?......... No I don't. I actually think the man for the job was Sven Goran Eriksson but that's a seperate argument. I was fully commited to Mark Hughes & his team & having met them & spoke to them on a number of occasions while stood next to the Infamous Doug (Roy) at training I felt we were well on the way to getting some success (which I believe we still are looking at our league position & given the fact we're in our first major cuo semi final since 1981).

This is another sad weekend in our history.

I do however have a question........ If Mr Mancini doesn't get us into the top four or wins a trophy by the end of the season, will he be shown the door too?

Personnally, I think we're another season away from finishing in the top 4 anyway & I thought that at the start of the season. Now we've got to start all over again.

You CANNOT get instant success nomatter how hard you try.

Yet again we are a laughing stock of the football world.

CHELSEA , REAL MADRID , BARCELONA AND PROBABLY A SHED LOAD MORE HIGH PROFILE CLUBS HAVE SACKED MANAGER AFTER MANAGER FOR NOT GETTING THE TEAM TO WHERE THE OWNERS WANTED...........AND THOSE TEAMS ARE STILL SUCCESFUL IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

THE WAY OUR DEFENSE WAS PLAYING WE WERE THE LAUGHING STOCK ALREADY AND THERE WAS NO SIGN OF THAT IMPROVING......IF YOU CANT SEE THAT THEN GET TO SPEC SAVORS !!!!

WE ARE A DIFFERENT CITY NOW MATE...THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BECOME THE RICHEST CLUB IN THE WORLD OVERNIGHT.....THINGS CHANGE AND SO DOES THE TARGETS THAT WERE ORGINALLY SET OUT BEFORE THE SEASON BEGAN.

A BUDGET IS REVISED EACH QUARTER....WE SET OUT TO GET INTO THE TOP 6 BY THE SEASONS END BUT SEEING HOW THE PREMIERSHIPS ELITE WERE DROPPING POINTS LEFT RIGHT AND CENTRE WE CHANGED OUR BUDGET ACCORDINGLY.

THATS LIFE AND IT HAPPENS IN EVERY COMPANY.

Hey Carl!

I like your posts - I don't agree with all of them but you think about what you are saying before you write. But what is it with the CAPITALS ALL THE TIME?

Capitals are for shouting.

Not really - I read more than I write but I've been around a while.

Hey look its just a question - Given all the rest of the shit going on I am not looking to wind any one up or get into a "deep and meaningful" over the use of the Caps Lock button.

What for wanting him out? You may as well call Khaldoon and the Sheikh an idiot as well then.

What should they have done? Made up their minds spur of the moment and put the tealady in charge for 6 weeks while they found a replacement?

We shouldn't have replaced him in the first place!!!!

You just have to look at our neighbours in Salford & take a keaf out of their book (as much as it pains me to say it)

Absolute madness isn't it? They have the audacity of removing a manager who's won 0 trophies with another who's won 7 trophies including 3 titles.

The stupid thick arabs. They clearly have no idea what they're doing.

We just have taken a leaf out of their book. We appointed a manager with a record of WINNING TROPHIES. Just like Sir Bacon Face had when he was just a wee sausage.
