Lescotts performance last night was woeful , back pass in panic from the half way line to give a corner away was comical , actually I've never seen a back pass like that for years..he panics on the ball when he has any opposing player a yard away and if no one can see that then you shouldn't even be allowed to comment on a Lescott thread !
On a side note , DM actually defended well up to the sending off...not that it makes any difference to how I feel about him playing in the starting 11.
He should be panicking on the ball if he has an opposing player a yard away, as he is in the shit otherwise.
Did anyone else play any totally shit passes last night or was it just Lescott ?
No one booted the ball from the half way line to give them a corner.

But plenty of people booted it without looking, straight to Barca players just outside their own penalty area, when they had time & space to pick out a pass & set us on the counter attack, which is much worse.

I was actually never worried about them getting corners as they are all midgets , I think we won everything in the air over our area.
The game plan and team that was put out was overall shite , simple as imo.

We should have been getting corners against them.
I would consider playing neither Lescott nor Nastasic in Barcelona. Their attributes as Premier League central defenders are not any use v midgets.

So 90% of fans prefer Lescott, yet he can't get in the side!
I would love to know why Pellegrini (and Mancini) stopped trusting him.

He isn't comfortable with the ball at his feet and Demechelis is more comfortable and a better passer. However Lescott is a better stopper. It's all about preference.
