It certainly is, if we only expand one end, which is clearly mentioned as a possibility amongst those figures for away fans.

We would also be losing thousands of potential corporate/box places every week, if those figures were true, as the average away turnout for that would be dreadful.

no Ted, it's not. Look at the OS. New season tickets will be all over the ground.

It may be that the numbers are for Cup games, but they are what was presented and approved.

The rest is just crossed wires.

Yep I'm quite sure the numbers are for cup games as the 9325 is exactly 15% of the full increased capacity. we're not gonna give 9k seats to clubs for league games

Think you're both sort of right. We've currently sold out of season tickets, but there's always a per game allocation. If we increase the capacity by say 15,000, I'd expect that to be 10,000 new season tickets and the rest as single games. I presume they'll want enough non-season ticket seats to allow them to relocate an entire end for FA Cup games.

It'd make sense to put new season ticket holders in the existing seats, if possible, as it guarantees a full looking stadium on TV, with any unsold in the gods at the end. However, the cheap seats will be the new ones, so in reality, there will be a mix.

Wonder how they'll sell away tickets? At the moment it's bottom up, but it'd make more sense to go top down, so you'd have two full tiers of City fans behind the goal, with a few Fulham fans in the roof.

Well it can't be for seats that current season ticket holders have so it must be those seats.

although it can be for existing seats that aren't currently allocated to season ticket holders (there are a few thousand of them aren't there). Just look on the OS and it explains how it works.

Is that for both ends to be complete? The family stand and the South stand?

What does the : 2,000 pitchside seats mean?

Will we have the fans straight where the goal is? In the back of the keeper?

If that is so, our pressure will be more intense.

We're digging down, apparently. It'll be like the swamp where you'll be looking up at the game.

Loving the expansion plans. Yes we might get more tourists but that will only increase revenue which is a good thing and a necessary thing. Yes it might not be full for every game at first, but it will be for a lot of games. As a previous poster said "build it and they will come"

and I quote:

In terms of away supporters, they will continue to be segregated in the south stand in
the lower and mid tiers. For a fully expanded stadium, there will be 9325 seats
available for away supporters – 2524 seats in the lower tier, 1990 split over the club
and box tiers with the remainder in the upper tier. Should the south stand only be
expanded, there will be 8088 seats provided, 2072 seats in the lower tier and 1572
split over the club and box tiers with the balance in the upper tier

That will be the safe segregation number available for cup games where a higher allocation is mandatory. This won't apply to league games
