Obviously owners were expecting steady run of results and top four challenge.

BUT I'm sure same things are expected from Robbie Manc so he'll know from the off what is expected of him. I also firmly believe he will reach those targets next season.

I know you are upset mate but this is the situation now.

What do you mean next season? We are close enough to challenge for top 4 this season. The squad is strong, we are hard to beat and we are only 6 points off 4th with a game in hand. If Mancini is as good as you say (and Hughes as poor as you say) then it shouldn't take much to turn those draws into wins and get a top 4 finish this season.

Bluez, next season will be fine as our owners are very honourable arabs who dont deal in kneejerk reactions and have patience and understand the project.

Just got back from xmas shopping - me ticker wouldn´t have taken another 2nd half like that so I went out at half time and did something else to take my mind off it - 4-3 didn´t surprise me at all and neither does the sacking - these guys are ruthless and we are impatient - that´s football today guys and girls so we´d better get used to it - probably the frst sacking decided by forums!

What is that based on please? Mancini has had 7 years in management and won 7 trophies. What makes Hughes better than or even equal to him?

Think you are massively underestimating the level of support Hughes had and the number of level headed fans who attend games and aren't complete pussies who start shouting for change after a few bad results. This decision and particularly the timing of it will have pissed an awful lot of people off.

I'm not underestimating anything. But you know full well that there were people, season ticket holder home and away people, who never deep down felt they could ever really cheer Hughes.

Mancini comes with clean slate.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

We will just have to wait and see how it goes, hopefully he will sort out the defence and then we should be laughing.

His pedigree isn't as clear cut as looking at what he has won. He was given his first title, he won the second as there were no competitors due to all teh penalties they were suffering and his third was while the others were still coming back.

Lets just hope he is brilliant

forgetting about the seven trophies im thinking the most relevant to US is his first year at lazio he got them into the champions league, hughes didnt look like doing that in a season where three of the top four have had faaar below par starts to the season

what about the cup wins? Aren't you forgetting them as well?

If he can deliver us ONE cup of any sorts I'd be delighted. That goes for any manager.
