So a pivotal few weeks are coming up when we should be looking to grab maximum points. Sunderland and then stoke at home. 2 very winnable games and we should win! We have to bounce back from the defeat and make teams think that we are serious contenders for the top 4 once again.

We do have some things in our favour, besides the heated dressing room arguments. Sunderland's recent away form, for one thing, has been really poor. Then we actually have quite a nice run following this over the festive period, so for all the "one game at a time" talk, we should really be building a platform to spring forward here. Liverpool also have a run of easy fixtures, so we need to be matching them. I reckon we can go into the New Year ahead of either Villa or Spurs (or both!)
