I've kept my gob shut until now...

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I've kept my gob shut until now...

Postby Typical City » Thu Dec 17, 2009 12:44 am

but now is time to say, i've had enough. With the players at his disposal Hughes is quite frankly ridiculous. The string of draws against shite and now this. What a squad and what a useless twat. I don't buy into this rag business as i do genuinely think he wants the best for us - as it is in his own interests, but himself and his coaching team are completely out of their depth. Forget the CC, we've played nobody apart from lower league and reserves - in the same vein as the UEFA last year. He's had the money and bought reasonably well, however he/they can't get them to play. No rhetoric, it's as simple as that. If I was to go into tactical ineptness this post would be longer than War and Peace and quite frankly I don't get paid to do it, so I won't. We're almost ready to go but he isn't capable, unfortunately, because I would have liked him to succeed.

While I agree with you %100, you are aware that there are several other threads regarding this sentiment?

The thread we have all been waiting for. Everybody the opinion that requires its own thread from..........

Typical City

I for one would like to thank you for this thread, the result annoyed me but one thing was really getting to me an I realised it was because I've not had the pleasure of reading your opinion on Hughes in its own thread.

Your opinion is far too important to be in any of the other threads an i'm glad that you realised that.

p.s I've emailed the club letting them know what you think and I expect the tabloids to get wind of it to. WHen someone of your stature makes a statement like you have done, expect huge reactions all over the sporting world.

No please, tell me about his tactical awareness, or lack thereof. It would make your whingeing more interesting.

I was one of the give hoim time brigade but I've had my fill!worried though that if he's here in jan will he make some poor signings in the transfer window(and if we get rid could this affect preparation for carling cup)

More and more people seem to be reaching the inevitable conclusion that hughes is inept.

The fact that the replies to your post have mainly of abuse rather than defence for the manager only reinforces the points you have made.

The hughes sticky is great for the happy-clappers because it makes it easier for them to keep their heads in the sand and ignore the obvious, hence they get upset when they open another thread and accidentally read the truth.

don't be such a tit (EDIT) mate

the Hughes thread is to stop endless "look at me look at me" bollocks threads about exactly the same thing

I'm not happy this morning, not happy with the manager, the coaches, the players or the fucking performance. But even I could manage to put my thoughts in the thread that was intended to stop us having endless repetetive threads like this telling us nothing new

KK it was your mod team that made that sticky, so stop moaning.

Secondly, its not about whether he is good enough or not, its about the recycled debate everytime we drop a point or 3.

WW got it right with the sticky, place was much better when people stuck to it.

But until we stop having endless repetitive poor performances we wont have anything good to write about, and until we have a manager and coaching staff who can manage and coach to the level of the players we have then we will not stop having endless repetitive poor performances!!

Doesn't matter where he puts his post, he speaks the truth. The corner we seemed to have turned against Chelsea was obviously leading straight into a blind alley. We've got 11 points in 10 games and just lost a 6 pointer in the battle for fourth by three goals to nil - and we were lucky to get nil. Many people must now be at a tipping point where they now think LMH isn't going to make progress with the players he has bought, I know I am...

If all you people who are offended by this getting its own thread stop bumping it the whole time, it will sink to the bottom of the page quite soon.

One of the mods at least obviously agrees that these threads are inevitable and that the sticky thread has maybe run its course and served its purpose, so unless you have been made colour green or colour orange I suggest you stop trying to do their job for them. Thanks.
