The only positive

Postby Moonchesteri » Wed Dec 16, 2009 10:46 pm

Is that we don't have to wait for a whole week for another match. Thank god it's only three days 'til Sunderland match.

We better hammer them or I will be livid.

Another positive for me is that I thought Richards looked good again, starting to get back to his best.

I think Sunderland will reap the backlash of tonight.

I sometimes wish it was 3 months to the next game, I think the closed season and pre season is where we are at our best, then we believe, but then slowly, slowly, it gets stangled away, and to the depths of cold winter evenings, the fires that were once burning bright are just a glimmer of the warmth they once gave forth, oh to be warm,oh to be warm, that wonderfull winning feeling has gone, gone gone.

Win, lose or draw against Sunderland though, the Hughes problem won't go away. A win will just buy him more borrowed time like the Chelsea game did. Obviously I don't want to say I'd rather we were beaten so that it speeds up Sparkless' departure but I just hope to God the board are making arrangements for his successor despite what happens in the coming weeks. For what it's worth, I can see Darren Bent having a field day against our pathetic defence anyway!

I just hope SWP is back. I cannot believe how much we miss him on the right flank as Hughes was nutless to stick on Weiss on the right.
