If a 3-0 hammering is what you call a narrow defeat what do you call a 1-0 defeat? How you can actually take ANY positives out of tonight and remain optimistic about the future under Hughes is beyond me.

The only thing that was Narrow about that was our play for 95mins - after 15 mins it became painfully obvious that we'd never break them doing going through the centre - but the useless welsh clunt changed fook all to stretch the play to the wings ...

Bollox and embarasing!

simply put there are too many players that are overpaid for the shifts they put in, they are hyped up to be brilliant when basically they are only good when they want to be, we nned a manager to give some of these idiots a few home truths a strong manager that can give it out to them, hughes although fiery when a player probably lacks bottle to bollock these fuckers!!!!

Shocking performance, no presence upfront till RSC came on and we looked fucked everytime Lennon went at Sylvinho. BIG improvement needed.

Agreed, and while i've got £20 on Mourinho joining us in the summer i seriously hope we approach him very soon for him to become our manager in January, he is clearly very unhappy at Inter and has stated he would like to return to England.

Why is there no point in sacking him now. We need a new man in for the start of the transfer window where hopefully he can sort the wheat from the chaff and strengthen where needed (eg a whole new back four)

True but he's still no where near as good as he was last season. Who hasn't gone backwards though? (except de Jong)

Some of the players want to stop talking and start playing ..

Embarrasing watching Robinho interview before the game saying we can win the league.

When we have won as many games as Birmingham City we can start to shout our mouths off ..

No wonder fans from all the other clubs piss their pants at us.

That's the thing. We paid 200 million. No way are those players worth that though.
Halve that amount and you're nearer the mark.

Outfought, outplayed, out-everythinged by Spurs tonight.

The four lads I watched it with all shook our heads when we saw the shape of the team, with Sylvinho and Robinho down the left against Lennon, who promptly murdered us down that side.

Not one City player did themselves any justice tonight.

I await the usual suspects "perspective" post on City's season, but lets deal with the reality. One win in the league in two and a half months, which with this squad of players is quite frankly some achievement. The whole lot of them need to take a long hard look at themselves as theres quite a few of them with big fat reputations just not doing it.

Top 4? We really are having a laugh.

apart from tevez and barry they were a disgrace. adebuypoor was useless hughes must of seen his poor touch bad positioning get rid of the useless twat. that result has bin coming for a bit , ireland did noy want to know and give up like the rest of the twats. hughesys last tranfer window aproaches. i am the last to say get rid of clueless but he has no plan b or a plan a most of the time. robiniho strate down the tunnel the little shit. were going to get beat now and then but to give them 3 points without trying pisses me off.

Thats down to a number of reasons outside of his control, mainly hughes terrible tactics, tevez standing in his position constantly and ade refusing to take up a position in space to pass too
