Time for Neddy to step up to the plate. Iv no doubts that a centre half is going to be our priority in the window.

Wouldn't surprise me if Ned and Toure struck up a very tight partnership tbh.

This could prove to be a blessing in disguise. Lescott and Toure just don't seem to have the understanding that a Centre Back pairing need. Maybe Lescott's replacement can succeed.

I have full confidence in Nedum. We all know he is good enough but will he go in at RB or in the centre?

Not the best of timing, though, with the African Cup coming up. If Lescott's still out when TOure goes, we'll be short on options.

See thats the problem hes out for upto 4 weeks and with Toure leaving in about 2?? we could be without them both leaving us with just Ned/Micah and Kompany to choose from and if one of those gets injured we are FUCKED.

Good point.

How about a cheeky bid for that Irish lad at Villa in January?

Agree, with the midfield either poor (Barry) or in the wrong place all the time (de Jong), and no protection for the full backs at all, they were playing in a game of "attack and defend" for almost 90 minutes and only conceded 3!

why don't you try this sometimes

Internal monologue, also known as inner voice, internal speech, or stream of consciousness is thinking in words. It also refers to the semi-constant internal monologue one has with oneself at a conscious or semi-conscious level. Much of what people consciously report "thinking about" may be thought of as an internal monologue, a conversation with oneself.

I don't think they were. We played a kamikaze tactic, basically leaving Ned and Toure alone at the back, since Sylvinho and RIchard were forced to go forward to offer at least some threat from the wings. At least that was the way we were playing the first 20, then we just crumbled after their 1-0.

For some reason we seemed to loose the midfield battle, allthough we more or less had three central defenders. Above that Lennon was raping Sylvinho on the right, having all the time in the world putting well messured crosses in.
