and what did leslie do to show he is a manager of any class?
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

11 points out of a possible 30.. wouldn't you agree that's relegation form?

hahahahaha - yes - we're going down. i agree.

for the record, it's nice to hear the fans singing bluemoon just now. edge - what was that "shots" total now?? it's not happening for us tonight - it happens. (copyright carlo a.) i'd sack hughes - without a doubt. but not coz we lost narrowly to the team in 4th FFS.

You're right Arjan. I was and am a HUghes outer. But I'm much more disapointed with the upmteen draws we've played against shite teams, than with tonight's defeat. Tottenham's been great, we didn't put in a good preformance. End off. Let's forget this game fast.

Yes :( We need a new manager ASAP. Give Mourinho whatever he wants.

Yeah, good point. Why not just talk about relegation. FFS is it mid-December.... 4 is a nice dream, top 6 is realistic. However all this negativity is pathetic. It is one fucking game. We have only lost one other game... the draws suck, but a point is still better than zero, it is not dire (yet).

Top 4 isn't a 'nice dream' with the money we have laid out, which is virtually unheard of in the English game, top four is a MUST! Top six is no longer acceptable and to get into the top four we have to beat the other teams capable of making it into the top four, of which, Spurs is one. The performance tonight along with other performances recently, Chelsea apart, have been shite. Birmingham away, Fulham at home, Burnley at Home, Hull at home, Bolton away. Those game shave been 2 points dropped, not one point gained. Don't put positive spin on realistic facts.

SPOT ON FISH.

Seconded. Well put.

I agree, but not this season. You can spend all the money you want (see Real in the Beckham days) and not win, chemistry takes time. I think top 6 this year is fair goal, next year no question top 4. It is obvious certain players need to as the do not fit. Robinho, Lescott, and RSC have not shown they are a fit as of now. I will take a top 6 now, get rid of the flotsam and jetsam and fill the missing pieces.

It has clearly been said this team was built to win for 5 seasons, not just right now. While I am not happy with the shit we are playing, I am very optimistic of the future.

The players we have however great obviously cannot play well together. Barry was a class player before coming to us you just don't get THAT shit by moving to another team. Hughes has a really negative effect on great players and a positive effect on average players I figured it out. He needs to go games like Spurs are decider matches for us I could do with a 1 goal difference but 3? that's definitely not allowed.

What pissed me off is he was glad we wasn't in the top 6 last season so we never had Europe matches so we could concentrate on getting into the top 6. He's clueless that should have gave it away when he said that.

If a 3-0 hammering is what you call a narrow defeat what do you call a 1-0 defeat? How you can actually take ANY positives out of tonight and remain optimistic about the future under Hughes is beyond me.
