Just mentioned on R5L it's Fifa who make the final choices. If LFC continue with financial issues and are unable to upgrade Anfield surely we would be in with a good chance of staging a game or two?

How SKY think everyone is getting worked up about what may or may not happen in 2018 is beyond me. Couldn't care less tbh as I support Manchester City not the stadium caterers!

IF we get the World Cup Eastlands will be guarenteed to be a host venue. This is just corporate posturing to show the world our stadiums and so help the bid in some small way.
Any mention of Liverpool or Everton being snubbed with their decrepit old grounds?

Its ok because I will be on the boat and one of the first to arrive at the cape of good hope! I will get the building work under way as soon as the water level drops.

Yes Brian Mawhinney - who looks like Alistair Sim playing his madman role in Ealing comedies - said he couldn't envisage a bid without 'iconic Liverpool'.
Ridiculous

2018 COMS will have been expanded to an all round three tier 60.000 seater home of the premier league trophy for the last 5 years in a row and CL trophy for the last 3 years and most of the best players in the international teams will live down the road from COMS as they play there every week
and the swamp will be snubbed because the ugly ass white scaffolding holding the shit hole up will be deemed "unsafe and in serious need of repair" which the scum wont be able to afford to do as there debt has caught right up to them since they havent won a trophy in the last 5 years and had to become a selling club
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I can barely understand the MkDons stadium being in there, but don't even get me started on Plymouths' Home Park. WTF? I know its gonna be a new build but its gonna be a third full then for league games, bizarre

The decision on the bid is 12 months away and then the stadiums won't be decided until 2013, what's all the fuss about? COMS could potentially look very different by then too
