Clean sheet, shame they had to go to extra time for the win though.

Without Hart's fuck up it would have been a really good run of four away results.

Competent performances from Pantilimon and Lescott. Both deserve to start on Saturday.

And of how poor he was on the wing!
Usually he's excellent on the wing though. To paraphrase, anyone can have one BAD game.
You're right. I think his biggest problem in the first half was that he didn't have anyone to link up with.
He's a strange one though. Can go several games and provide nothing but security and good link up-play and then he goes and has a game like this and it seems like nothing is working for him.
also, ONE bad, not one BAD. My mistake.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

same here. would've been MOTM even without the goal line clearance
Ditto.
You know when you watch games like this and there's usually loads of reserve players and 2/3 current first team starters in just to steady the ship? And as a result of form/being better players those 2 or 3 players look a little better...well Joleon's looked like one of those all night. Same with Negredo. JL looks like he's the experienced leader, the reliable one, cos he is really.
Lescott is an excellent natural defender and a great foil for VK. Still upsets me that he isn't first choice.
+1
Shame that he isn't a regular

This is insane on Sky like City is from Germany that is how they comment !!
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
