Exactly right.So many teams seem to know how to defend as a team and what do we have... Zaba attacking down the right and then running back with a great pass inside to their player. A cross is thrown in late on and Nasti gets a weak touch on it and they have a free man at the back post Surely if we are going to defend and we have 2 left backs on the pitch we should NEVER be caught like that.
Every time one of their players decided to run at us it seemed so easy it was scary. But heyho we didn't play great and took 3 points so the same result in a fortnight and we are through.I will take that.

Does anyone know why Negredo Goal was ruled out,i have been watching on Russian television.Looked a perfectly good goal to me.

Great save by Hart at the end.
Very important win tonight. Played some very good attacking football and the Aguero-Negredo partnership is looking good.
The defence is a shambles though. Pellegrini cannot persist with either Garcia or Nastasic any more. They are simply not good enough. Every time the opposition attacks, they look like scoring.
