Why not get the 1st train straight to Newcastle and meet Pics there. It's about 4 hrs to Newcastle which should give you plenty of time for a swallie or two before the match and then a full sesh on the Toon later?

There is a rail ticket available for a fiver. But Erik sadly has to put up with travelling with us to get this fare.

Ahh, I see. Rather pay the 50 notes and go alone ;-)
Which train are you lot getting?

Paying 55-60 quid for a cab ride from Liverpool to Manchester to get a train ticket for a fiver would be daft ...
The train ride all the way from Liverpool to Newcastle is just about 30 quid (so far).
However, the company would of course be priceless... ;-)

That is of course a very good point. I suspect a taxi ride might be even more expensive than suggested and is clearly ridiculous.
However you want to do is fine and dandy. It will almost certainly be the 0842 from Picc now.

I'll probably take the bus from Liverpool in that case. I will have to get up early as hell, but travelling in group will be more fun!

If I still lived in Manchester I'd whizz up the 62 and get yer. But it's a bit of a mission from Hudds. We'll sort summat one way or the other. Looking forward to it.
