Only change's i would make is NDJ for Vincent (if he's fit) and Robi replace Bellers.

.................GIVEN

MICAH....TOURE..LESCOTT..SYLVINHO

SWP........NDJ.....BARRY.....ROBI

.........TEVEZ........ADE

If SWP is out then i would put Zabba or Stevie in, going to be a hard one this but if we can come away with a point il be relatively happy as we have around 8 winnable games (on paper) coming up until the Dippers at home.

Richards------------Toure----------------Lescott-----------Sylvinho

---------------------------------De Jong-------------------------------

SWP----------------------------Ireland----------------------Robinho

Barry just hasn't cut it lately and Superman looked good yesterday linking up nicely with Tevez regularly. Time to get Stevie back in the team.

The way SWP limped off yesterday following being done by that dirty bastar* Robinson, I'd rate his chances as slim.

Given

Richards
Toure
Lescott
Syvinho

Ireland
De jong
Barry
Robinho

Tevez
adebayor

I like your first team, Ant, but I wouldn't have four defenders on the bench. I'd give a couple of young forward players a go on the bench instead of Bridge (Injured) and young Vinny Kompany, who I thought was quite poor on Saturday.

I would like to see Weiss running at Essou-Ekotto and Petrov at Corluka. I think that the wide areas are where we could win the game. They are quite strong down the middle.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

...............Given.............
Richards Toure Lescott Sylvinho
Tevez Kompany Barry .. Ireland
........... Adebayor ......Robinho

I'd play a mongrel leftie 442/451, i.e. I'd have 3 on the left so Lennon is constantly under pressure... Sylvianio and Ireland mostly but with Robinho too keeping him busy. Nullify Lennon and Spurs will be clueless. Tevez then on the other side can get on the end of decent balls cross field from Ireland and Robinho. Adebayor to simply keep the 2 CDs busy and pushed back all game. Barry and Kompany to stay desciplined in the center and take out anything that moves. No need for them to get caught up field. Forget the fancy stiff. Ateal a 1-0 win and job done. :-)

I like that team Ant but there's no way we should have someone like Petrov up again Lennon. He's probably thier most dangerous player, we need to protect that side. Maybe

i believe the wrt Petrov and Lennon -- the protection is fighting fire with fire...and i like it.

Sylvinho wont be afraid to rough Lennon up a bit to send a message either.

Hughes will never do this, but I'd go with:

Given

Richards Tourè Lescott Sylvinho

De Jong

SWP (Weiss) Ireland Robinho

Tevez Adebayor

Call me crazy but I'd want to attack them from the start, and I reckon De Jong could cope on his own with creating a dam in front of the back four. Maybe it would be better to ask Richards and Sylvinho not to bomb forward though.

More realistically, I think this could be the squad to go with, if SWP is injured:

Given

Richards Tourè Lescott Sylvinho

De Jong

Ireland---Barry

Tevez---Ade---Robinho

Nigel has suine flu and definitevely out for White Hart Lane!

I believe we'd play with:

SUPERMAN, BARRY, ZAB;
CARLITOS, ADE, ROBINHO
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

That's the team I'd pick as well.

Micah Toure Lescott Silvinho
Komps
Ireland Barry

Tevez Bellers/Robby
Ade

I think he will play this team. I'd personally drop barry. But then kompany was total shite on saturday and we are away from home, so who would come in anyway? He wont play zab in midfield. And I dont think we could get bellers and robby both in the side. Maybe we could play tevez central (as we have been doing anyway and where hes been so effective??) and bellers replacing SWP?

There I've just solved the problem. Not sure how it would look cos im unsure as to the shape weve been playing recently.

That's the one for me.

Although if SWP isn't fit, I'd move Stevie slightly over the right of midfield, with Barry in the middle.
