Tough one. So many top performances today. I gave it to Kun for the way he took his first goal. Yaya a close 2nd followed by Nasri, Komps and Negredo.

Already said in another thread that the team was excellent today. Every single one of them turned up today and fought hard for the team.
But it has to be Komps, just for his control and strength in and out of our area.

Vinnie was immense, MOM for me. Negredo seems like a diamond, Nasri good game.

It's amazing to think how well Yaya played today not to mention Nasri and Sergio but MotM just has to be Vinnie.

Probably needs sharing between 5 players tbh. Key for me though in this game was setting the tone, Negredo really gave them something to deal with and possibly made them concede space, above all though Vinnie just owned the stadium. When he is like that there is only really one outcome in games as the oppo just gets nowhere. That set up the space for the others to perform imo, and perfom they did.

( bearing in mind that Shrek on form and up for it can be almost uncontrollable, he had just come into form... and Vinnie made it look easy pocketing him. I suppose if you are going to pocket the whole rag team yerself then even the fat bastard shrek is hardly noticable ).

Kompany was absolutely outstanding today and laid the platform on which the performance was built. Don't think I have ever seen such a commanding performance by a central defender. So glad he is fit and back to his best form

I voted Captain Kompany as he was totally outstanding in all aspects of his game today.

Yaya had a good call, Navas did exceptionally well, The beast put in a terrific shift, Sergio, was utter class and Zabs came to the table in the second half and back to his best to. I also thought Samir made amends for his last years showing and continued on his current great form.....here's and interesting piece about his game today;

Kola had, maybe, the game of his city carreer, zaba was perfect, his workrate and desire in setting up the corner that lead to the second goal was fuckin A.
Dinho was really good today, seems like he's settling in, read the game so well.
Vnnie was out of this world, samir had a great game, he was running nonstop, man of the match.
Yaya is a lazy gem
