I TAKE IT YOU DIDNT SEE THE MATCH.

I DID AND ESPN REPLAYED IT 5 TIMES AND HE WAS FOULED...NO TINTED SPECS..HE WAS FOULED AND HIS YELLOW SHOULD BE RESCINDED IMMEDIATELY.

Not really, there is clearly contact between his and the defender's leg, also why the fuck would he dive once he had already got past his man and was basically into the box?

Er...did you miss the fact that we played half an hour down to ten men due to a shocking decision by the ref and that they were awarded an off-side goal? I'm not happy about drawing at Bolton, believe me, but today we were robbed by the ref, no fault of Hughes, although in his place I might have taken Kompany off earlier.

Always somebody elses fault.

offside goal or not, we should still beat bolton even if we only field 10 men from the start. piss poor result and there are no excuses for it. yes, the ref was a cunt, yes the goal was offside, and they would be valid arguements against a good side, but this was shitty litte bolton, and we were wank.

Well I'm no Hughes lover, not at all, but I think it's not arguable that when the referee gives the opposition an off-side goal and wrongly put you down to ten men with half an hour to go, it makes winning much harder.
carl_feedthegoat wrote:THE DEFENCE IS AN EMBARRASMENT AND HAS BEEN ON THE WHOLE FOR FUCKING MONTHS.
It is, no problem in admitting that, I'm just saying the ref has his responsibilities too, and big ones at that.

Hinchcliffe says Bellers got booked in the first half for complaining about NotloB's first OFFSIDE goal, but still noone saw a red card, puzzling performance from the ref!

No, its always hughes fault, we all know that - you've told us enough times.

Stop whinging for fuck sake(not aimed at you directly mate) -

Why are so many of you always so quick to point out what we could have done, what we did wrong - who was so shit and why we should get rid of this player or that manager.

What the FUCK is wrong with being a point off fourth with a game in hand, being in a cup semi final and unbeaten in 13 games?

Someone fucking answer me that??

No idea.
Same question could be asked of Guti.. He once was clearly through, defenders nowhere near him. .Went past the keeper (with the ball) . AND DIVED! Trust me he would've still got the ball easily if he had wanted to but no. he decided to dive. That way he did get a red card for the keeper though.. Maybe that was what bellers was looking for as well?
In my opinion, from the replays I saw on TV - It was a dive. For which I am properly disgusted. Until I see more replays in slow motion about the incident my opinion on that diver will stand firm.

i agree with all those things LM. Bellamy shouldn't ever have been carded for that dive tho knowing he was on a Yellow already. it wasn't the most horrific dive i've ever seen. Clattenberg is just a retarded cunt for doing that.

And Lescott is up and down...shouldn't have allowed that 3rd goal, but he did. If he'd have hit that open header or the 2nd chance he had later and we won 4-3 we wouldn't be bitching about his defensive fucl up that much really. It's a game of inches that we're...uh...drawing. unimpressive.

little positives from today from the team other than the obvious and cliched "fightback with 10 men to earn a point" which falls flat for me, but individually - Tevez, Richards, Sylvinho were tidy...Robinho looked good and Ireland ok-ish. Given didn't stand a fuclin chance today...must have felt like he was with Barcodes again.

Hughes setup today was wrong i think. that was obvious in the first 10 mins. The changes he made, absent Rocky, were fine...they should have been made sooner as in the starting lineup...and Rocky should be nowhere near the first team.

cheers

Apparently we are the only team in the Top half of the table who drop points to 'fucking pub teams' or 'Sunday league teams' like Bolton, Fulham, Birmingham etc...

Some people are apparently oblivious to any extenuating circumstances in a game or the fact that this season is one of the most open in years.

Is there anyone here who, if asked seven days ago, would have been disappointed with four points from Chelsea at home and notlob away?

I had the match facts page on the Guardian open. No cards listed at half time for us. Klasnic was down for one.

After Bellamy was sent off they updated to say that Bellamy was booked 11 minutes into the game. Absolutely unbelievable refereeing. Stream was poor at the time (and during replays but I couldn't see how that was a dive. Looked like contact.

that's right. i dont know how anyone can take a positive in it overall really. You can't. Do people think Chelsea admire a shit draw against a relegation fodder club? they don't. they fucking expect more from their club and so should we. Simple.

Look, Bolton played for the win and gave us a chance to play some football if we wanted...it wasn't like they parked the bus and nicked a 1-nil victory from a bad refereeing decision. They played football. Got some goals from dead balls like Xavi warned us they might in his preview (maybe he should manage City for a month and see where we get?) and earned a point. End of. We sucked donkey balls. Luckily Tevez has a 12-inch monster cock he slapped in the forehead with twice or we'd all be fuming even more.
