Bolton vs Manchester City official match thread

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Not good enough at the back. Truly awful defending for every goal and throughout the match. There is no way we should be conceding 3 goals at Bolton. Totally disorganised at the back, not winning the first and second ball anywhere near enough and a lack of clear lack of leadership driving the team.

Really really disappointed with that result regardless of the sending off. For all our good play going forward we're let down by amateur defending again.

IMO we should hire Tony Pullis to nut the ref!

You're bang on Renato, this board will be riddled with Lescott out and Hughes out and blah blah....

But its KIND OF important when a ref puts you down to ten men and gives a gal advantage to the other team.

I'm sick of referees this season more than ever. It stinks.

LET ME GET THIS IN QUICKLY......LESCOTT IS FUCKING SHITE.

THE REF DESERVES TO BE RELEGATED TO THE CONFERENCEM LEAGUE..DISGUSTING PERFORMANCE FROM HIM TODAY.

Dead right CARL.

We may have let goals in today and drawn yet another game, but its fucking hard to win a game when the officials take a man from your team and hand the opposition a goal advantage.

I'm so sick of officials getting away with this.

I want video replays brought in NOW and the only fucking reason its not been brought in that I can think of is because the corrupt cunts will find it hard to smother pretenders like us.

Some positives from today, Tevez is top, we came from behind, we drew with 10 men, we were cheated on 2 goals arguably.

This is what ive got from radio an you guys.... cant wait for the highlights.

yeah, and considering we were playing relegation bound Bolton with squad worth 250m, draw is pretty fucking poor result.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Sylvinho was surprisingly good, especially considering the amount of games he played so far, and Tevez was inspirational, shame for the crappy defence and the bastard ref.

A strong performance of all our squad ruined by the fucking bastard ref who made two terrible mistakes against us. 1st Klasnic gol scored clearly in offside for everybody except for the ref! Bellamy sent off after a clear foul from the Notlob defensor, absolute quality shit! Super Carlitos is obviously today MOM, he's coming back at the same levels of his Hammer year! And now let's beat the spuds!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

This is a bit like the Ireland / Henry argument, in that at no point in the game were we in the lead, so whilst we can whinge about this decision or that decision, we never took the lead in the game so how the fuck can we expect to win.

City in recent months dont start to play until we go behind, so whilst the refereeing was shit, at the end of the day, we allowed them 3 scoring opportunities where they put the ball in the net. If we had goals ruled out for offside, had nailed on penalties turned down I could sympathise with your view.

The fact is we scored 2 individual goals, and aside from Tevez, we were largely SHITE, and would have been embarrassed.

The question remains as to why we have to score so many goals to win a game, and refereeing decisions or not, the continue to seem to need to score 3/4 goals to win a game and that is not acceptable

Lescott was brilliant though last week wasn't he?

And let's face it, Bellamy dived.

How the first goal wasn't given offside though is beyond me.

FUCK OFF HUGHES and take your fucking coaching team with you because you are a fucking laughing stock.

Er...did you miss the fact that we played half an hour down to ten men due to a shocking decision by the ref and that they were awarded an off-side goal? I'm not happy about drawing at Bolton, believe me, but today we were robbed by the ref, no fault of Hughes, although in his place I might have taken Kompany off earlier.

Can I ask you one question and please have the courtesy to answer me...

Why, when its obvious as hell that we were robbed by the officials AGAIN do you never acknowledge it?

I thinkits because you like having a good old moan, but maybe you'd enlighten me?

We cant blame the ref. We were already 3-2 behind. Our defending is awful. No one can deny that. We drew this game because we're not good enough at the back.
