Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Firstly let me apologise in advance if this has been covered elsewhere, I'm not on here as much these days so if it has could someone give me a link to the thread, thanks.
The first thing that struck me as we took our seats last night was where all the supporters banners had gone from all around the ground, including obviously our own from the site? Has this been communicated to the supporters who they belonged to or is it just a temporary measure?

We noticed this. I thought it was to show off all the new Nike swooshes that have appeared around the ground. I do hope that they are put back up.
On another note the fun of 109 continued last night with the sit down bollocks. One steward even tried to get block 110 to sit down which was met with some colourful language and a lot of piss taking. The steward threatened a load of grown men with a strongly worded letter. Can you imagine the piss taking?? He soon got the hint and walked off with his tail between his legs.

Just noticed a thread on Bluemoon about it but no-one has an answer and the thread descended into slagging off the singer from last night! Why on earth did I think they'd have the answer on there?

I'm shocked the club have just taken them down and not discussed with fan groups who pay a lot of money for them. Would hope they haven't been skipped.

I would imagine it was purely for the image purposes because of nike and it being our first game and televised at such a time that the USA will be watching.
Money talks!!!
I expect them to be back....if not I expect an explanation and our banner back. The townley could do with some redecoration.

maybe they needed to do some kind of laser guided measuring-up for the future stadium expansion? I sure hope they put them back because it's one of the things that adds to the atmosphere that they are wanting to cultivate.

Not really most of the people that would watch the game here are still at work. I'm the past for a Monday game I would usually leave work early and work from home for the rest of the day. But we have to be in the office now.

Was chatting to a steward pre match and he said they were a bit behind with things getting the stadium ready (I asked about the none existent new wifi).
I also noticed in the bogs near us the advert holders just had half ripped out posters from last season and hadn't been updated.
Hopefully putting the banners up was just part of this issue and will be back for Hull

Was in early on Monday and went to get a coffee. Had to suppress a snigger as two obviously new lads were guided through the process of putting a cup on a stand and pressing a button for hot water, as well as using the till. God only knows what went on at half time when everyone dives on the counter screaming orders and hurling abuse for slow service!
Good news was the coffee was £1.80, a considerable drop on last year when it was £2.20 or £2.50.
