TBH was also bought by the special one, so if anyone thinks Hughes got it wrong, then so too, surely did Jose

But it is about what I expected as the minimum considering the money we have spent.
Personally I dont think top players like we have need that long to gel because they are already at a certain level and so the team should be able to perform at a high standard.
The fact that the season has been pretty good so far isn't however reason for me to change my mind over Hughes which I will do at Xmas.If we continue in the same way as we are now I think I will think he should be given until the end of the year but for me I have not seen enough yet to be swayed into the pro Hughes camp.

You've already decided mate, why wait 'til Xmas?

And by the way he hates rags and hughes is a rag dontchaknow

Never!!! I wonder who he really supported when he was a kid; I heard it was the Dippers?

Bit of a cheap shot.
And I've no doubt you've been asked before with the ability you're showing, knowing that I've already made my mind up about Hughes but can I have this weeks Euromillions numbers seeing as you are such a good futurologist.
However just for the record let me say that me personally,if we are 6th at New years day,Hughes will not get ant more criticism of me until the end of the year.
Sorry if that messes up your predictions somewhat but you probably saw that coming.

Now that's a cheap shot mate, it was mean't to be a play on your own words as you stated that you would change your mind over Hughes which you would do at Xmas, basically stating that you had already made your mind up but just didn't want to state it.

See, I'm not that bad am I; or am I?

Wow how quickly you guys change your minds eh? We win 2 matches and you turn from anti hughes? I still think we can do better myself and will always stick to that until maybe the end of the season and he proves he can do something but certainly not after 2 matches like a lot of people on here.

I just think were very foolish - in the eyes of the whole League - to even run this poll in our current situation. Cant we park it until the next draw and the hounds come out again?

You spend every week on here going around contradicting yourself mate!

One min you're saying we're doing great, next you're bad mouthing the team or some of the players... then you enter several threads saying you're sick of all the negativity and the board is going to shit...

Then you call folk fickle.

You're an enigma mate.

I like your streams though.

is that the .33 recurring thing? Notice that we are up to 62% in favour of him staying (nearly 2/3s for now)? Amazing what a week can do for a team; well played lads!

Wonder what the poll will be like if we dont win on Saturday, some people need to grow a pair and stop changing their mind from game to game.

IMO the poll was a good idea....and remains so.

At times on here you could be misled as to the real barometer of fans' feelings on the forum as some people shout loud and often. This provides us with a more accurate litmus test as to the really representative view.

I'm positive you're right that it would swing back again if we went on another barren run....so it should. Something is wrong when that happens and, as lots of people point out....we should be able to debate everything good and bad. It's the nature of football that the emotion will make people swing from OUT to IN and back again.

I like Hughes but he's now twice been at the point (for me) that it would have been understandable if the owners had jettisoned him. He needed to up his game (and so did the team) and the last two games have shown that we moved towards the right direction. If we win the next couple of "easier" games then I would say that we are going in the right direction

Well said Ant.

This poll is here so that we can gauge how the board in general are feeling towards the manager at any given time.

If those two fucking retards R_I_G and CityTillIDie11 were still around, the board would be littered with Anti-Hughes threads and anyone stopping by here would mistakenly think that in general, the board wants the manager out and that's simply not the case for the most part.

Also, I don't know why this poll wasn't added to the Hughes thread that was made specifically?

Anyway, its only right that people can change their decision in this poll because some everyone has different time frames as to when they will decide or "re-evaluate" their feelings on Hughes.

Football fans are fickle, some of you act like you didn't know that. Actually, it seems to be those of you who will say you don't want hughes and "never did"... but when we acheive fourth or a cup final you will change your mind.

We're all fickle, just with different frequency.

it was created by Slim and I reset the count by adding the 3rd sit on the fence option. Never even thought about putting it in the hughes thread. Its a very good call but If I merge the two topics, I have a strange feeling the poll will disappear. So I will let it be.
