He said on the official website that he's just looking for fitness in the early games so a loss or two is on the cards. Brace yourself.

Yup, lets see if difference between reporting if we do loose our first friendly, queue the 'under pressure' headlines !

Quite so.

However, with it only being a "fitness workout", it can't be regarded as a proper game and, on that basis, doesn't qualify for being included in the statistics and records of their incredible 'history'.

"United's disjointed evening was summed up near the end when the misfiring Danny Welbeck produced a shot that wobbled past Narit Taweekul's right post as the striker fell over."

England's future looks grim indeed.

Welbecks other bit of 'skill' was pretty entertaining as well. Trying to work a defender in the corner and only succeeding in backheeling the ball for a goal kick under no pressure. Easy to find on 101greatgoals.com atm.

The look on the defender's face is priceless. Mixture of pity, embarrassment & disgust.

I usually use the TV schedule for timing, any idea when City play?

I usually use the TV listing for timings and the City match isn't listed in my sports app either. Any idea what time it should begin?
