For £4.4 million, snitch for a player with his skill.

Barcelona have agreed to sell Tottenham Hotspur transfer target David Villa to Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £4.4million.

Andre Villas-Boas' side had reportedly been chasing the Spanish striker for the past few weeks as they look to strengthen their forward line ahead of the new season.

But, after three years at Barcelona, the Spanish champions have confirmed Villa will move to Atletico.

Mmmmm, Does this mean, technically speaking, that David Villa has 'snubbed' Spurs ??

If so, why haven't the media used that terminology ?? (rhetorical question, so no answers needed).

My bad. Got the initials wrong way round.

I'm going to trust the guy and wait to see what he does with the players we have and with the players he brings in.

It has been going on since the end of last season. Lots of press and media are reporting on it, but nothing concrete as yet.

It could come down to price again - valuation too high, we pull out. I think with Pepe we can play hardball because we have a few CD's already.

Just listened now on Sky Sport Italy: Jovetic's agent and Beguiristain will meet on next Wednesday. 25 ml £ apparently the price. Jo-jo and Yaya playing together? Oh that would be my dream when we would sing the Yaya chaint again next season!

That sounds plausible with Mario Gomez just joining Fiorentina they could be ready to finally let him go.Would be a good signing.

I hope we can work this out. Maybe this is why we stalled on the Negredo deal...Sounds like we will be battling Arsenal and Real Madrid and maybe Juve. If we are serious about him lets hope Cheeky and Soriano snap him up. Or we could let Arsenal buy him and then buy him from them next window for less money.
Interesting that we are meeting his agent; apparently we've been in contact with him for awhile. Maybe we have a deal with Fiorentina and have been waiting for them to get a replacement, which they have now in Gomez. So maybe now it's just personal terms with the player. Question is, will he be okay rotating with Aguero and/or Dzeko and anyone else we bring in

Really hope that Benteke doesnt go to Spurs now that he's handed in a transfer request...

Also, in the last couple of days there has been an increase in rumblings surrounding Reus. Probably bullshit but they have increased.
