matchday heated seats!!!

Postby cjhaz69 » Mon Dec 07, 2009 6:33 pm

at the bbq in abu dhabi i meet the guy who's job it is to run the stadium, he asked me and the missus if as fans there was anything they should be doing to to enhance our matchday experience, my good lady said "yes, i wont a padded heated seat and a retractable roof so nobody gets wet on rainy match days" he took out his i phone and made a note of our seat numbers and said he would see what he could do.
we thought that would be the end of that, not at our new style city, 10 mins before kickoff on saturday he turns up at our seats in his city suit with a package under his arm...a portable padded heated seat!
needless to say i have now asked him for lapdancing and multi pourers in the concourse for half time!

That`s your first suggestion. Can City fight the corner of the fans who want a standing section...Then secondly stick the away fans in a corner and have the full South stand home fans..Thanks CJ.

same, the whole south east corner upto about block 109 was standing for the entire arsenal game, the noise was awesome and the stuards didnt even bother asking people to sit down if enough people just stand up then we get away with it

and i think the away fans should definately be put in the corner if we ever extend the third tier all the way around so they take up less of the lower tier, they could have the same allocation but with less width

my two pence: we need a new floor surface. When it's wet (like on Saturday), it gets slippery as fuck. I almost fell and broke my neck twice. And it didn't have anything to do with my alcohol intace.

how about asking for helicopters to pick us european blues up say once every two months, we'd pay a small amount to pay for the fuel (50euros ?)not that the owner needs it he could give it to charity
the pilot could start off in madrid to pick up dave y ?then 1/2 hour later picks up WW up in the s/w of france ,pop over to me in valence then hop over the vercors to patrick in the savoie before swooping down to zurich to pick zurichcity up ,if we could have a 2nd heli, start say in bosnia for blueinbosnia then over to rome for cityfaninrome before heading to pick up tom's in germany then a little run to holland for mr nool & fidel now that would be class !what a publicity stunt ...............i'll get my coat while i'm dreaming

As I've said elsewhere this arrangement works in Germany. They have fold away seats (they need them legally for European games) so they can have large standing sections for League games. Surely its time to review this, crowd control is at such a high standard now compared to the Hillborough days. Imagine if the South Stand was converted to standing our capacity would go up to about 60,000?!

Did you actually request 2 heated seats or 47,500??

Wasn't there some rumour that the Platt Lane/Umbro had some sort of hot air blowing about to warm the seats? Probably some problem with ventilating the underneath!!
