Rod Stewart is a fucking cockerney, I guess that supports the rag theory.

I wonder if Garry Cook thinks that today's game is in his personal best Manchester United games he's witnessed so far since he joined us.

Yeah he's always been a Cockney Red as well as being an ardent Celtic fan - remember he even mentions the the two clubs in the lyric to 'You're In My Heart'.

Can I just mention that even though I don't like these Americanism's of dimming the lights when I see them at USA games, I do love them at ours; mainly for the kids. Is this a Garry Cook'ism I don't know, but thought I'd mention it,

They did a similar thing at Fratton Park but that was because no-one had paid the leccy.

My little lad was buzzing today, he dont get to many "after dark" games, andd he was stunned by the spectacle and the singing. For him, I would love to see it continue, especially for the semi.

On the downside, he spewed his ring up in the car 3 times on the way home and I have only just finished cleaning up, can I blame cook for that?

Yes John lad, you can blame the cook for that. Unless the driver to was in to much of a rush to get home (to tell the Mrs the good news)!

Did they do the blue moon thing again?

Can't wait to see it and watching the crowd reaction to it the first time I have to say that it looks like quite a good thing to help gee the crowd up a little.

Bet the kids must love it as you said John!

to settle the argument, this is exactly what he said in Fourfourtwo interview some years back. He is a rag and hoops fan in equal measure.

I have to say I'm not surpriced to learn Garry Cock is Rod Stewart fan although my fiver says his favourite artist is Kenny G.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
