Yeah, bit disappointed with the game to be honest. Thought we'd put up a bit of a better fight, regardless of different personnel from the Chelsea game. Didn't really live up to the billing. Well done to youse, though. Just as hard trying to win a game off the back of 7 draws than it is off a 0-3 home defeat. Genuinely hope you guys go on to win it.

Wenger. Hmm. The very moment it happened (or didn't happen, as the case may be) I thought "he's started a sh!tstorm in a teacup now!" It's slightly disappointing but let's be honest, guys, is it really that big a deal? Hughes and Wenger had a bit of an altercation on the touchline in the first half and that may why he refused to shake hands. I'm just guessing here. To see Jamie Redknapp getting all hot and bothered about it was a little rich, seeing as he's never been a manager under pressure before. And guys, paedophile slurs? Come on, you're beginning to sound like the classless lot from Salford.

Come now, we wouldn't sing it at the guy at the ground, it was going on behind closed doors here in our own house. A touch harsh maybe but he should try to stop being such a cunt and inviting vitriol on himself.

How does not shaking an opposing manager's hand constitute being a "cunt"?

I'd hate to think what you feel of someone who's really wronged your club!

It's not just the not shaking his hand, it's his general lack of sportsmanship and his bullshit about being incapable of seeing anything in a balanced, not utterly biased way.

I don't just mean the incidents of last night, and I wasn't just talking from a City fans perspective.

I meant that in general he pisses so many non-arsenal fans off people by and large (despite having massive respect for him as a coach) think he is a total cunt

I've always liked Wenger as a coach and a person. Then we won the lottery and he's been snipeing at us ever since to anyone who will listen ... fuck him

when it comes down to it, Wenger has made himself look a total tit last night and then confounded it with a petulant interview. I would expect behaviour like that from my under 8 team when they get upset at losing. Wenger needs to fucking grow up.

For a very intelligent and mostly dignified man, Wenger really does throw his toys at the wrong times and in the stupidest way. But agree on the clip, brilliant. Say what you like about Hughes, he's the best in the business at winding up Wenger!

Ah forgive him. It's nice to see he's so passionate. Obviously a great manager but perhaps a little conceited at times.

Still, he's treated us to some of the best football we've ever seen. And look at his face! It's hard to stay mad at him for long.

He reminded me of golum with his antics last night (speaking of golum, I hope we play Everton before they get over their injury crisis)

He's acted like a spoilt brat and should rightfully be vilified in the press for his childish behaviour. Hughes's wave and mugging was brilliant, not only did we take the win but also all the dignity

I loved Hughes comment something like "he doesnt know how to behave when he loses". For me that implies that Arse is a great side that doesnt often lose. But that they'd better get used to it.
Class psychology or just lucky who knows.
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Just been on 5Live....Wenger wouldn't have shaken hands with Hughes if Arsenal had won.

Makes you wonder if there was some argy bargy after the game in September which we don't know about.

Goes back to Blackburn mate. Quite similar but Hughes knocked the ball out of his hands to get a move on. Similar exchange of views.

Yeah. They had big run in to my recollection over the style of play. Wenger felt that Hughes set his team out to harm his players in purpose. Fabregas, to my recollection, had a pop at Hughes for being a Barcelona flop as well.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I agree chaps...but they shook hands after the game in September, which makes me think something has been said behind the scene's. To not shake hands because Hughes nicked the ball off him can't have kicked that lot off could it? !!

Anyway, He's not the first Frechman to have problems with his hands in recent weeks! ;)
