looking forward to this one, never been to Swansea, hopefully the boys will make it a good day out. I can see Mancini playing a strong team for Swansea and then a second string for the midweek game against West Brom before the FA Cup Final.

I agree, strong team here and second string midweek ... but I'd like Panti to get a game here before the Final ... preferably this one, West Brom's too close to the big weekend.

Swansea have simply switched off after their League Cup win. Our team turns up, we win. It's that simple, imo.

A shitty 1-0 will do me which would leave us a win and a draw to claim 2nd. However, I can see Swansea turning it on for us, they always do.

If Yaya gets going and both full backs are on their game, we will dominate the game.
They attack well and play with wide players. If Zaba and Clichy do what they have done all season, we will stop most of their offensive play.
Only thing for us is can we put the ball in the back if the net?!

I'd do a dress rehearsal for the FA Cup Final this weekend and then give most of them a break midweek ...

Panti
Zaba - Komps - Nasti - Clichy
Barry - Yaya
Nasri - Tevez - Silva
Aguero

Play this for the Final too (unless Nasri is back to his usual then slot in Milner)

And play these against West Brom:

Hart
Maicon/Richards - Kolo - Lescott - Kolarov
Garcia/Rodwell - Yaya (I think it's in his contract somewhere that he always always have to play)
Milner - Tevez/Silva/Nasri (sub them and make them play only one half) - Sinclair
Dzeko

Looking forward to the Swans game as everyone: expect a great match between two sides which know their football and have little to play for. good entertainment to come.

Agree on prosed line ups: I wish Bob would rest both Yaya and Dave, but he is too much of a stubborn cunt to do so. hopefully Dave, at least: I'd hate if Silva couldn't get out the Wembley dugout

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

there must be some truth, then!

Somehow the remaining games have lost any excitement ... the only real fixture is the FA Cup Final now that gets the juices flowing ... but even that is against a team at the wrong end of the table ... oh, well the prize is not only another trophy but also booking a derby at Wembley ... Community Shield would be a great kickoff to the next season and a chance for us to put them in their place early on.

Hardly related, but I can't start a new thread: It's still mathematically possible for Chelski & the Toffees to nab the 3rd and 4th CL spots; I don't know how others feel but I'd prefer it if they'd succeed and the Gunners & Spurs are denied spots, just to see the looks on their faces - Gunners for their incorrigible stance on FFP, and Spurs for their 3-1 victory over us to expedite an early rag crowning, especially since their games before & after were draws so it kind of made me feel like they were out to do the rags a favour on the day.
Apart from 2nd place and an FA cup win, this would top my season off. And btw if we win the FA, technically we'd have won more trophies than the rags this season.

I would play Milner instead of Barry in the middle next to Yaya.
Nasri and Silva have the wider role with freedom to come inside when attacking and then Tezez and Aguero to have a licence to pester defenders and the goalkeeper.

with this game on the 4th and WBA on the 7th, is this the one we play a full-strength team for and then rest vs. WBA in prep for the FA cup final?

The stadium is far out of the city center, not even to contemplate walking btw, few pubs around the city center that won't hold a home presence I know tha much. 2 pubs within walking distance of the liberty both packed to the brim of home fans.

The stadium info says the train station is 2 miles or a 20 minute walk? I have 3 hours to kill when I get there so I shouldn't miss the kick off
