United 2-1 away from home

Chelsea 2-1 away from home

Wigan 1-0 at home

all in the space of time where Spurs have not played a single game. That's right, the last time Spurs played was Thu 11 Apr, a full 2 weeks rest.

I asked a few questions in the OP and I think I got my answer. I also worried about fatigue setting in and strangely enough, the last 20 minutes we fell away.

Any coincidence, surely not.

Spot on!

I hope the rags to get beat tomorrow just so I can ask you what we had to play for.

Next season we will be unstoppable under Roberto Mancini.

Jesus Christ.
We have the highest wage bill in the league. He has spent massive resources. He played Dzeko, a player he signed for 27million fucking squidllies. He has the luxury of having his top striker out and to bring in one of the most expensive front men in the the country. And you offer that as an excuse?
Get fucking real, it isn't a valid argument.

Pic's, who would you have played? Obviously playing Sergio was a risk and one that he didn't want to take (I wouldn't either) so surely there can only be one other option looking at the squad available?

No Sergio, no Dave, Jimmy goes off with a strained hamstring. What other options do we have?

No Dave, no Sergio, no Milner. That's three starting players in any top 5 team if you ask me. It's a huge loss. But you know, it's all Mancini's incompetece.

And it went in."

True but with more effort in attack we could have been home and dry by then.

6 minutes of madness which seemingly was down to Mancini if you read some of the posts above.

You can blame defenders or whatever, but he needed to add something to our play or put some energy into the team via subs before we got in to the state we finished in.
The boss is in charge of making the decisions and he didn't make any, so allowed the spuds to take control and have freedom against a lethargic and un-inspired team.

"blame defenders or whatever"

What do you mean, like Kolarov ( who was fresh btw ) watching Bale putting a ball across our six?

or

Our captain not being aware of what was around him and not putting his foot through the ball which effectively gift wrapped Dempsey's goal

or

Vinnie's next piece of schoolboy defending against Defoe? I hate to think of the stick Jolly or Nasti would be getting were they guilty of that.

Apparently though that's all Mancini's fault for not making a change in a game in which we were comfortable even after AVB's ingenious tactical switch.

Mancini's reaction on OS blames two individual errors.
He is right, his and Platts. After the second goal he said the game was over, we had nothing to recover.
Again he's right - because he left a capitulating team to their own devices.

That was down t0 Vinny, end of. Yes Bob could have done more tactically to counter when parker was swapped for a long passer. More worrying is the number of times we get on top then sit back and allow ourselves to get pushed on to the back foot. Injuries plus extra game time plus not taking two clear cut chances didn't help. Beaten fair and square imo. It happens..

Wouldn't mind swapping him out for Kolo for a while.

I'm thinking you're on a wind-up here but you could have a point. Kolo has played very well when he's been on but I'm not sure if he could do so consistently.

I honestly think that Vince needs a hand beside him to give him the confidence to be at his best. I noticed that last season when Joleon was out that he didn't play at his best and maybe him having to look after Nasti his impeding his game.

Vince has taken a lot on his shoulders in the last couple of years and for his age he's coped incredibly well. Next season will be his making, I think, and with another year under his belt he will become the alround player and leader that we all think he already is.

There's the link mate, and he's completely right in his analysis. We should've been 3 up and we lost 2 of our goals from individual mistakes. Read the match thread, most have said the same.

Do you want the manager to say all is rosey in the garden, do you want him to lack integrity scuh as the likes of Taggart and Wenger?

I personally quite like that he puts it across as it is, without hesitation. When I'm working with the best people at my disposal, I want the the right answers, the right outcome, I shouldn't have to micro-manage every part, that's why they are who they are and paid accordingly.

Kolarov is absolute dogshit. I know we don't have an abundance of top class replacements but is avoid using him at all. And dzeko is going the same way.

Also this is a match thread so I'm allowed to be a little OTT.
