That was so obvious I didn't even bother to mention it ;-)

Can't help but feel pleased for Dortmund and their fans who were just great at the Etihad.

The stupid Malaga president is claiming that they were dumped out due to racism. what an idiot.
sure, Dortmund's winner was offside but the only reason Dortmund needed to score 2 goals in stoppage time is because Malagas were awarded an offside goal. If anything, Dortmund deserved justice for that.

And the two that qualified from our group make the last four (and account for bacons lot along the way). We should have done much better with such a favourable draw.

Indeed. MCFC have let the whole nation down.

Now a proper group with Benfica, Otelul Galati and Basle in it, that's tough.

perhaps you should re-read what he is claiming. he isn't blaming this defeat on racism at all,the racist reference is to the way his club have been banned from europe for a year

did i?

"Thank you very much for the team you have been Champions On the pitch
I'm sorry to go out this way injustice and racism"

"This is not football, but racism and clear of all"

But what he said today is what you are referring to:
"Yes, we were targeted from the beginning of the season by corrupt UEFA and based on racism"

What, he openly called UEFA corrupt?

yeah i can see what you means phips, but the beeb have become masters of cut and paste news. Which is where i read those statements.

Indeed, i don't think he would really mean that Racism lost them the game last night, that would be strange. Danish refs deny City a goal and a penalty against them , scottish ref ( was scottish wasn't he last night ?) giving wierd goals. It isn't racist , but clearly very questionable indeed

It was clearly a cock up by the linesman for the Malaga second goal. He had been very quick with his flag all night and more than once incorrectly so- he was behind the play for the Malaga goal.

whilst Dortmund have played well in the CL so far, i think Malaga were better last night.

Also, i do hope we're in for Isco this summer.

its all a bit confusing, partially due to the President's terrible English.

And while Im a fan of Dortmund and want them to go as far as possible in the CL, Malaga were the better side last night.

Pulling for Milan today on account of my recent Barca dislike. If AC can get an early goal will make for a very interesting game, especially with Messi 1/2 injured.

the linesmen next to the goal are completely useless. They just stand there. Even if they are closer to the ref they don't make a call. Very bizarre
