Just saw rafas presser. Media pushing for him to say something controversial. He just said I waited for him and he ignored me. When they pushed him for more he said "ask him if you dare". Lol. Starting to like rafa.

Yeah, that's what I read, something about 'Ask him if you're Brave enough'. He gets it spot on. Fact!

What a fucker though, not even got the grace to welcome another manager.

And there we have it, everything that goes wrong is now down to the little Turk!

"We're lucky to be in the cup. We just ran out of legs and Chelsea were far the better team in the second half," he said.

"But I can't be critical of my side because the running they had to do on Tuesday night, against a really top side in Real Madrid, had its bearing on today's result, no doubt about that.

"The two full-backs, Rafael and Patrice [Evra], are knackered and the two central midfielders tired badly. We kept giving the ball away and it made it a long day for us, going from one penalty box and back to our own."

Just saw some highlights from the game. The first goal was brilliance from Carrick combined with some weird goal keeping from Cech. The second from Rooney's freekick... Weird one. I mean it wasn't hard or anything, it deeped a bit but still... Seems Cech was at fault for both goals really.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Haha good job Chelsea didn't have to travel a long way and play on Thursday isn't it? If Czech hadn't gifted them 2 goals they would have been battered. Absolutely out on their legs half way through the 2nd half.

For me on Tuesday they picked the wrong side. Shrek should have played as he is miles more of a goal threat than Wellbeck but SAF wanted the more defensive approach. As if Rooney couldn't have done the Wellbeck job on Alonso or the wide left role instead of Nani.End result is Wellbeck doesn't score and Nani gets sent off.Well done SAF.

Today he leaves out RVP his best player. WHY? I am convinced it's to show the world (i.e our media/press) that even the best aren't guaranteed to be picked. They then go two up and he can't even organise his side to defend the lead even though the writing was on the wall towards the end of the first half. Well done SAF.

Rio Ferdinand will not be charged over Fernando Torres incident. Howard Webb shown footage and deemed it not a red-card offence.

Apparently camel choc ice is off clean. It's not even bias at this point, it's nepotism.

That is a red card offence. It may not have hurt & it may just have been pathetic & petty, not dangerous, but it's a red card offence.

Imagine if a defender from Reading, Sunderland, or Stoke tripped/kicked the dutch rapist off the ball... FA would throw the book at them, 3 game ban minimum.

The Rag waggon will not be stopped this season, for anybody or anything. I reckon Torres would've been given a 3 match ban for getting in CGs face if it had made a difference to Chelsea going forward.

Or, you could say, the natural order. It's horrible to say but now we are fighting at the top we're understanding more how things happen, they are the number 1 pull. Sky were built on United, United were built on Sky, a match seriously made in the depths of Hades crotch-pants.

Agreed, Beefy. We all know they get the crucial decisions, on the whole, in their favour. But it's not until you're actually up against them for trophies that you see how serious and crucial it really is. It explains why a mediocre group of players are constantly in the top 2 or 3.
