Do you not think he's being sarcastic? Like last season telling the press the rags had won the league even when we'd won it!

No I don't.The rag stuff last year wasn't sarcasm imo .It was a mixture of the truth plus taking the pressure off us and putting it on them.
There are times when he tries sarcasm as a joke but too often I don't think he is clear on what he is being asked and gives answers he shouldn't.That and the fact that he has a number of stock phrases he uses about players and teams and managers it's almost not worth having the press conference. That's as much down to the patheticness of the reporters asking inane questions but I don't think he helps.

That's why I like them Doug, it's actually the uselessness of the journo's that make them. Take yesterdays presser for example, I tuned in to see what he had to say about Barnsley yet when they broke the clips down there was only about 3 minutes on the actual game. The rest was full of inane questions about Rooney, Ronaldo, Nani etc which Mancini just shuts off to and gives the basic blag. It's not about the content for me, it's more like a game of cat and mouse and watching for where Mancini drops stuff.
Very entertaining at times.

I suppose he could liven things up even further by adopting the Wenger approach and asking the journos why they're all looking/staring at him.....
But then again, perhaps not.
