Ted Hughes wrote:I've just spent another 90 mins studying Javi Martinez.

He made a nice run 1st half & could have scored, passed once to Robben in an offside position. On 70 mins he made an interception & had a decent distance shot saved on about 71.

For the rest of the game, he was Jo hey Bartonez, including a crimially late airbourne challenge which would have been red carded over here, wheezing, hung over type lack of movement (on one occasion Dortmund broke, went past him, the defenders tackled the Dortmund player & the ball broke to JM who had just made it back past halfway, & he lost the fucking ball !!

Garcia is a better player than this bloke by some margin, but why were we so desperate to sign somebody that fucking slow & lacking in fitness ? It's not as if he was any different for Bilbao; he was on his fucking knees in some games.

I was surprised it was so end to end Ted, very little midfield passing posession from both teams , Dortmund do play on the break though. Van Buyten looked class again , Subotic steady against a top quality Bayern team , Lewandowski or whatever his name is did zilcho !
Very enjoyable cup tie and here is wishing we get standing sections in the premier league very soon.
Not really here

Regardless, I don't see why that's funny?

So which team is everyone rooting for tomorrow? I'm gonna go with Tottenham, because I want to see Wenger combust. That's basically it. I could also settle for a draw.

Norwich and West Brom wins with a draw at White Hart Lane. That's do me nicely ;-)

Witch game u think will be best to watch ? I can't watch rags.
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Chelsea v West Brom 15:00
Everton v Reading 15:00
Man Utd v Norwich 15:00
Southampton v QPR 15:00
Stoke v West Ham 15:00
Sunderland v Fulham 15:00
Swansea v Newcastle 15:00

The ref thought about it until he looked at Hughton ........ 5 yards away in his technical area.
