This is exactly what rag fans are saying and thinking AG7. It makes perfect sense for him to retire this summer if they win the title.

Absolute no win situation for them , no wonder Gill has bailed out ?

Gill hasn't bailed out anywhere, he remains at their board ... he is just repositioning himself to be elected on to the UEFA's executive board next and he remains on FA so he's just moving up a scale and will be pulling whatever he can for them at the FA as well as UEFA level. Watch him try to get UEFA to enforce FFP on us and FA with this new their version of FFP too ...

Power shift in our favour?

They are going to piss the league to win their 20th title and i will be very surprise if that is the only trophy they win this year.

If speculating on bacons retirement plans will help get you through the next couple of months then good for you but that cunt isn't going anywhere for another 5 years and the scum are still very much the team in power.

We have proved ourselves nothing but pretenders to the throne with the half arsed shit results we have turned out over and over again this season. Just another club that managed to rise up for a season before skulking off back to our rightful place in the shadows.

Quite a few rag fans are speculating the old cunt will possibly retire this summer if the rags win the title , Gill also now confirmed going, this if it does materialise would surely leave our beloved MCFC and Bobby Manc and our project firmly established as the strongest club in England and the rags grip on all situations loosened.Could this be the final power shift in our favour ?

Any thoughts ?

Well firstly i think it is a silly thread to create. Which City fan wants to waste his time on the old shandy drinker ?

Secondly and more importantly, Fergie does not look very well, he seems to limp a lot . Is that gout that he has ?

Like it or not , the Glazers can't do without him.

Just as we take the lead in the derby to reduce the prem gap to 3 points, he'll have his heart attack.

I must say I take exception to that comment. Surely that'll bring us level on points?

Maybe not just financial/match fixing exposes either - ask yourself which clubs around Europe have (or had) a number of players with unusually long playing careers, then the next question is how they did it?

they're publicly traded and know that any announcement will knock a chunk off their share value as will any speculation.
He'll pack in shortly after he and his mates offload a load of scum stock, or when the speculation gets damaging to the share price.

However, I think you just provided definitive proof that bigger doesn't necessarily mean better. That'll've made quite a few posters on here very, very happy.

Whenever Ferguscum decides to retire, I think he'll be given a seat on the Board, as a recognition of services/crimes past.

Without this being the intention, it would, no doubt, give him the perfect freedom to stick his nose in and interfere with whatever the new Manager was trying to do/dismantle/create. It could be a perfect recipe for a load of internal conflict and in-fighting which could threaten to tear their Club apart and even the Scum media wouldn't be able to resist publicising it.

Bring it on a.s.a.p.

Delaware is famous for being a low tax state so I'm sure Taggart and his mob are very well aware of it
Delaware State University (is that the school you're talking about Dwaring?) is a tenth of the size of Manchester University

Actually, I did know that. Also, Joe Biden's from there, and (so I've heard) South Park's Terrence & Phillip were originally meant to be Delawareans, and were modelled on the chaps on the state flag. I think that may exhaust my knowledge on the place.

University of Delaware is about the same size as Cambridge; Delaware State about a quarter of the size.

In a recent Football Focus interview he stated that he has no plans and that he'll go on as long as he feels ok to do it health wise. He said he feels ok for now but you never know with health at his age etc etc

Sounded to me like he'll stay as long as he can. But, as pointed out earlier, if he won the treble this year it would be the perfect time to go.
