Seems to be a consensus that we shouldn't have played Yaya first game back and that we should have played Kolo first game back. Easy this retrospective fantasy management game...

Because the situation desperately required a centre half but not a deep centre midfielder & at centre half, you don't have to leg it up and down the pitch for 90 mins, just mainly be alert in one area, so it obviously won't be as much of a problem if you are a bit tired.

And of course there was the option not to use Yaya in a job where part of his game would be tracking back. If he was determind that Yaya should play, then have some athletic cover behind him rather than expecting him to do something he doesn't even do when he is fit, but instead of that we get Nasri.

He fucked up.

Why people are even attempting to pretend he didn't, is a bit baffling. It's like a religion or a political party defending their ideals rather than a bog standard football discussion.

So what about the two own goals ? Joe Hart virtually threw one in his own net and Gaz Baz finished better than Van Pussy ever could.

Yaya has been our problem in a lot of games. Great attacking threat when in the final third, but defensively, he is often (not always) too lackadaisical.

He did neither on Saturday, even his passing was off.

I honestly thought Yaya was the problem on Saturday.

Mancini assessment of the game was poor to say the least.... Yaya was just arrived from a chill-to hot-to chill double jump and Barry was exhausted. I still cannot make me head on that: Bob can truly be as stubborn as a mule, when his key men are concerned, at times.

And that's why Yaya shou've been on the bench. You can imagine how the other players felt when they are benched for him to go straight back in.

However, I don't think that was Mancini's fault. I'm absolutely certain that due to clauses and bonuses, Yaya plays if he is fit.

We see this from the manager after games where it has gone tits up, Dortmund at home was the players fault. He used Garcia at qpr as nasty failed a fitness test on the pitch. Ok no problem they had 1 upfront and it was a diddle, the saints have given everyone a game at home. No Milner in a game that was going to be full on for nasri was his mess. Slating hart in public is just wrong, fine to give it him face to face in the dressing room. We look crap the players look like the fun has gone and if he wants performances he needs to up his game as much as the players. As his tactics and selections since qPr have been rubbish.

If it's not related party then the deals cannot be looked at by UEFA, as I understand it. You have to declare related party deals in your official accounts in this country, and if they don't count there then they don't count anywhere. But I'm not an accountant so cannot give the full SP on it.
