When asked on the possibility of players coming in, Mancini said: "I think it is difficult."
He then went on not to mention Brian Marwood at all.

I think that cases of a Top Club, achieving fine according to plans like City are, making signing in january windows are extremely rare.
Top Clubs always stand by the window, overlooking potential bargains which rarely arise, and that's it: it's always been and will be.
It may be a negative post on a "January Transfer Window" thread, but it's nothing short from reality.
Btw, I've just listened the pre Stoke presser, whereas I've been amused by what appears the new mantra of the rags wankers: "Txiki is pushing on Bob to impose what style of play (4-3-3 apparently) Mancini should apply"
Let's see how many threads will be starting on the arguments while the title race warms up.... :-)

No major player went in for him. Says it all really.
Premier League champions Manchester City have announced the signing of Ghanaian youngster Godsway Donyoh.
The 18-year-old was signed by City after having received his breakthrough at a Ghanian charity organisation called the Right to Dream Academy.
After penning a contract at Eastlands, he has immediately been loaned out to Swedish outfit Djurgardens for the rest of the year.
Djurgardens manager Magnus Pehrsson said: "The combination that Donyoh is a talented player who fits into our style of play, and that Manchester City believes in him, makes him an interesting addition to our squad."
