Can someone tell him he has a left foot. If you honestly watch him he always revert back to the right. If we makes a run on the left he can't cross the ball he cuts it back up and swings it in with his right. He had multiple opportunities to shoot with his left in the Qpr game but never took the shot. I think it's a bloody joke he's a professional footballer and doesn't have 2 feet. Hell my little brother who 12 can strike the ball half decent with his left.

He minces about shitting out of tackles and playing the safe option all too often.
He is a frilly shirt wearing French Duke.

He has been quietly effective for us. He isn't as spectacular as Silva but is clever and creates plenty of chances.
Think that quite a few are never gonna forgive him for the Van Pussy goal so he will become more of a scapegoat methinks.

I don't agree with that as his overall contribution to the team has been a matter of debate well before he dodged that free kick.

If you look into his stats for goals/assists with City you would think he has been doing fairly well but if you watch him week in week out it's hard not to be diasappointed with his overall contribution.
He is more often than not a passenger thats what frustrates me the most about him.We all know what he is capable of but i would much prefer a player who gives 100% like Milner than a player who only turns up when it suits him.

It's pretty simple If he pulled up his sleeves and tried harder he could easily be a really good player for us but it just feels like he could not be bothered making the effort.

What does he atually do? Irritates and whinges. Which makes me whinge, which is even more irritating because it makes me feel like Samir Nasri and I don't like it.

He's done a few important things while he's been with us, but just a few it seems. He rarely, if ever, looks the sort of player to take responsibility, grab a game by the scruff of the neck and pull a match-winning performance out of the bag, 'cept maybe the winner v Chelski though I can't recall how he performed overall in that game. Even if he was mint that day, it's the exception not the rule. I find him almost impossible to like. A lot of that might just be down to his face and the shape of his head though; both fairly offensive.

On the plus side, he does keep the ball well when we're working the ball along and round the area and back again, trying to get an opening, and can when he puts his mind to it, beat a man. Even this can cause resentment though cos sometimes the reason we're trying to play through a ten man defence is down to him dilly-dallying when he recieves the ball and not instinctively being direct. And to see him beat a man well, makes you wonder why it's so seldom seen.

6.8 out of ten for me.

What he lacks is a big set of bollocks and maybe a heart. The lesbian looking fucker needs to go have tea at Zabba's house and asking him over dinner how to get a set of bollocks and how to play with your heart on your sleeve. I put more heart and soul into making a brew than this fucker does on a football pitch. He either shapes up or gets shipped out as he is not worth a shirt let alone the prestigious number 8........

Frustrating indeed!! He has talent but, as with some others, he seems to rest on his laurels. Poor mentality

There's a danger of him becoming a serious hate figure at City, given his lazy ass approach versus his potential. If our management team can coax him to get his shit together then it'll be all good. From the type of character he is though (just a little on the conceited side), I don't think this will happen.

The best way I explain it to people is he hid behind the opposition or went missing making it impossible for our players to pass him the ball.

The ball was on the right, Clough was on the left. The ball was on the left, he was on the right.

Absolute shithouse of a player!!

He's too hit and miss and that puts too much emphasis on Silva... we need another little playmaker... Should have got Sneijder this Jan, and we need an Isco type in the summer... We are crying out for more creative and pace options in the last 3rd... Nasri doesn't deliver often enough

what are these chances he creates? It is hard to notice, because when he does have the ball, he runs back the opposite way.

Or stands still for a few mins daring the defender to move. He was at it again last night. (Actually a few seconds rather than mins, it just FEELS like longer)
