Why didn't they show the stonewall penalty foul on swp in the second half? And how could they claim we were lucky to be ahead at half time. At the match i thought we were unlucky to give away a pen for handball. After now seeing it was for a none existant foul i'm even more pissed off!

I have no idea why their commentator made that remark either - we were easily the best team in the first half and were ahead on merit at that point. Maybe he was meaning that the deflection was unlucky for Hull.

Not to mention them making a meal out of Adebayor's "stamp".

Despite MOTDs best efforts, thankfully nothing further has come of it and rightly so

the commentator was a dick. at least twice in the first half highlights he said city were lucky to be in the game but BBC hadn't even shown Given getting a touch. compared with at least 4 good chances for City. clowns.
lets wish for good days but not forget the bad days

Both MoTD and Sky commentators/panelists agreed that they could not see why a penalty was given, even the pundits on the Sunday supplement failed to see why it was given. As for the Shaun penalty claim, when you look again, the defender actually got the ball whilst going through him so I can understand why it wasn't given then, but the fact that he was pulling Shaun back prior to that surely would mean that he wouldn't have got the chance to get a touch on the ball as he'd have been well away.

The ref was dying to give Hull something that wasn't there and I seen by earlier decisions that he was going to have an affect on the game. His body language for everything he gave Hull screamed 'Look at me, I dictate this game' and when he gave the penalty, he seemed to take immense pleasure in giving it as well as shoeing our protests away!

i agree that the ref wanted to give something against us he was being abit of a c*nt all game only giving us decisions he couldnt get away with ignoring, as for MOTD and SKY we cant win with them if we win anything this year then we've ruined football if we dont then it's "they should have won something with the amount of money they've spent blah blah blah you can buy individuals but you cant buy a team blah blah blah im a smack head blah blah blah im a big eared goal hanging twat" so fuck MOTD, fuck SKY it's only going to be a matter of time till we are the big 1 never mind one of the big 4 its inevitable with the backing we've got so until then

They did, and mentioned that 2 wrongs don't make a right but it was expected, revenge and all that!

To be honest though, Ade was quite simply trying to jump out the way and didn't stamp but had nowhere else to go. He apologised straight away but as usual, certain elements of the media will look for anything to bring the club and player down. Zayatte's was a clear stamp but no real problem in their books!

Of course it wasn't a problem - because Zayatte isn't 'ruining football'.

Hull were f*cking horrible, kicking and diving everywhere - that's what really ruining football is like.
