Any truth in the rumours we're looking at another keeper (Begovic, Butland)

Any thoughts on this Zaha lad going to them? Is he much chop?

I really thought we were going for Zaha (as reported about 2 months back) ... I've got a horrible feeling he's going to be immense if/when he dons their shirt next season <shudder>

Another classic "we will not be signing anyone in January" bollox from Demento

llorente to juve at end of season appears to be a done deal. a good fit for serie a but never a PL player, imo.

You're right about that. I mean, if he were, he'd probably have gone here as well. Juventus does not have first dibs on anyone nowadays.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Don't need Butland or Begovic, we've got Panti & Richard Wright!!

Butland has said he'd only move to a club where he was 1st choice keeper, so I ruled him only ages ago.

That's shit news. I thought he would be a good addition to our squad. He only has a 17m release clause on his current contract - soon to be double that now.

Same. Really hoping we still get him. He could just be signing so Malaga can fleece more money out of us.

I thought that as well. I bet many teams do it. "You can leave, but sign this so we can get more money for you!"

That's no one else's fault but City's then. If we are slow or fail to act on a promising player it's our own fault.

With regard to Isco, that's what Aguero done with Atletico. Agreed to sign a new deal on the proviso he would be allowed to leave in 12 months time. Club and player were both winners. Could be wrong but think SWP also done something similar before leaving for Chelsea.
