Could you imagine the turmoil on this site of our centre backs had been Nasty and Joleen?

Me and Ted would have had the 100% analisis commentary on each player during and after the match.

Not sure if I possess enough knowledge of the English Disciplinary procedures, but I very much doubt the same output would have seen if Clllatemburg, Foy or Webb were officiating yesterday game.
Fair play, mr. Dean, everyone can fall under the massive pressure of those shouting deluded gooners!

I don't think Dean had any role in the decision. An "independent" panel of 3 usually review the video evidence without asking the ref.
I must say I was confident that this would be the decision after many neutrals (pundits and others) backed Komp. The FA would have looked ridiculous if they had voted to keep the ban.

as i said, I have little depth in the knowledge of disciplinary rules, so I may be twatting myself... I read the statement of Independence, but I suppose that, in a way or another, what written on the Referee report may take a part on the decision.
I may be wrong, tho, but fraknly I do not give much as long as it has been overturned... :-)

Although I am slightly sad for what we are gonna miss from Carl and Ted.

Ok. I am wrong.

I feel bad for all the conspiracy theorists out there, if upheld this could have led to two epic rants:

1. from those who would now be convinced and
2. from Carl about how we have no choice put to play Lescott

Oh well, I guess the Didi/Joey twitter battle is all we go today.

Glad it was overturned.

Not only have we had the good news about the overturn, but it has also brought the entertaining whinging of renowned Arsenal arse licker John Cross of the Mirror, who is pretty much on the verge of tears.

He can now go back to promising Walcott will sign a new contract with Arsenal tomorrow - just as he did with RVP, Nasri, Flamini etc.

Excellent news for everyone.

I just hope Kompany is fit, he looked like that tackle fucked up his hamstring or something.

Don't even joke about it! Time for the physios to earn their corn.

Could very much understand why Dean sent him off but was very confident of it being overturned.

Call me a cynic but tomorrow the FA is celebrating it's 150th anniversary.
I wonder if this had any influence on todays high profile decison?
Apparently normally 99.5% of FA appeals fail
