gary cook in the $h1T

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

gary cook in the $h1T

Postby dick dastardley » Sat Nov 28, 2009 11:19 am

Last night there was a OSC dinner and the inaugoration of our very own Uwe Rosler, unfortunately things didnt go to plan, in Gary Cooks speach he told attendees that it was a pleasure to put Uwe into the Manchester United hall of fame!!!! That slip of the tongue sparked outrage and fights nearly broke out amongst certain parties. Gary Cook made a quick exit left!!!!!
And today the heirachy of the club are non too pleased at his slip of the tongue, Which places his position in jeopardy!!!!!

I think that's pretty funny actually. A suicide move if there ever was one.

Ha ha ha, Garry Cook seems to have picked up the City sense of Humour. Bet he felt a right donkey after that gaff.

As for the infighting, seems there are still a few numbskulls within our ranks, and I wouldn't expect that at such an event.

Good to see Uwe in the Hall of Fame though and hopefully he'll make an appearance before the game today!

Surely this is a wind up.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I'm pretty sure it is, however there was supposedly loads of media there and I haven't seen anything from them yet. I would've thought they'd have been running back to their typewriters to get this one out?

Well looking at how long you been here and your amount of posts im guessing your not a WUM.

But seems a little over the top " fights breaking out" over that hmm i dunno maybe there is some that dont like gary cook in the club if this is true. I find it a little over the top if it kicked off lol.

Loads of rich men in suits hitting each other with there 5k man bags hilarious.

If it was last night then would probably be in Sunday's papers not todays. Easy to forget in this world of instant internet gratification that newspapers still only publish daily other than big headline stuff - and as important as we like to think we are this is hardly that.

I was under the impression they do their first issue on info upto midnightish? Then do a revised issue in the morning to catch anything they missed...
