Oh come on, did he "literally" not make one good touch? That doesn't even make sense. I saw him not fuck up more than I saw him fuck up. He's been here for less than half a season and he's been injured for a while. He didn't set the world on fire last night but that's such an over the top comment it's ridiculous, tongue in cheek or not.

I have already stated mine as a kind of knee-jerk reaction, Pal.
I take no pride on stirring a dig at a City player (sigh!), You may be right but I honestly did see a performance hard to believe from a professional midfielder, on whose intentions and efforts I have nothing to argue.
thankfully I am just a fan.

I like the latitude he is being shown in this thread.

If only Roque Santa Cruz was shown such patience.

What concerns me about this fella is that he is unable to do the little things, like track the ball, tackle, shield. at best, all i saw him do yesterday was escort the opponent..."Like, hey mate where are you going? O... that way, towards my goal?? ok... lets go i'm behind you"...FTF... I really hope he proves me wrong, but from what i'm observing... we need to get rid of him and cut our losses.

Also... i guarantee this, a good coach would have taken us to the next round with the current talent we have... what does that say about Mancini???? i dont hate him, i just hate the SNAIL mentality he has planted into our squad. soo very very SLOOOOWWWWW....
WE will never do anything in Europe with this style. sorry for digressing, had to VENT a bit, again.

As people will remember I hated the signing. But at the same time, he is here now and we need to give him time to up his game.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I agree he needs time but he has been so bad so far I'm not sure Mancini can afford to take the risk any longer. If he continues misplacing passes and contributing little or nothing we just can't continue to carry him.

When he plays we might as well have the mentality we are down to 10 men. I love the way he shapes his body looks up and passes to the opposition so masterfully. Worst signing since Roque.

Give the guy a chance. the mistakes Garcia is making are just the signs of a rusty player. Stupid things like turning into players and losing the ball. His confidence also looks hit as he never showed for the ball against dortmund. He needs game time and confidence and he will be a very useful player for us. Remember Natasic wasn't great for the first couple of games but with a bit of confidence and game time, he can excel

If his hair gets him three months, his 'tache loses him at least a month.

Garcia is certainly a long way off the mark at the moment, but lets not write him off just yet as hes hardly played since joining us and has recently been injured. My main concern though is a. his lack of pace but more importanly b. his lack of positioning. Barry is an example of what can be acheived with little pace if you can read the game well (although i think even barry could outrun Garcia) however Garcia needs to massively improve and be in the right place in the right time. Hopefully with match fitness this will come.

If you ask me, Rodwell was a bigger waste of money.

I think Garcia is injured or something like that. Remember the game with Stoke, he was massive. He needs to get a grip, i still think he was, well is a good signing.
