So what happens now? what needs to be done?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

So what happens now? what needs to be done?

Postby paulmclaren » Tue Dec 04, 2012 10:06 pm

Nasri, balla, dzetko and other fringe players need selling, but will they move on the wages there on?
And what was the point in buying Rodwell, Sinclair etc when they will never play?
Mancini has lost the plot there.

not much needs to be done, when we have the ball move it quicker, when we dont have the ball attack the ball better

Imo, this will end with either some of the the players getting changed, or Bob getting changed.

We are quite capable of playing some great stuff, but this group of players can not do what Mancini is trying to make them do. He either needs to make some big decisions on sales, or change his outlook, or go.

Nasri, Balo, Dzeko helped us win the League last year.
Sinclair is totally out of his depth. As is Garcia, tbh (haven't checked the other thread yet..)
Rodwell fine.

We will learn about Europe. Go to bed. Have another drink. Both.

Well Rodders is injured isn't he? And Sinclair was bought as a replacement for Johnson who rarely played according to the media.

Problem?

What we need it to have a proper backup plan, teams are learning to clog the centre and stop City, against Everton I counted 7 defenders when we were in the final 3rd and not a single one of them was wider than the 18 yard box. We need to start playing that 4-5-1/4-3-3 we were playing last season and pushing Aguero out wide to give him space to run. The 3-5-2 is a novelty, not a proper plan.

Our plan 'A' & it's variations last season, was fine. We needed a plan B & C. Now we seem to start with plan F.

Sinclair had a good chance tonight for 60-65 minutes and did even less than AJ ever did. Bad buy. off in the summer, if not loaned out in the winter.
