Good for him. On both counts. The kid gets a chance on a different scale and I hope he does well. Never had a chance at city. Was like a buy in the Sven era.

Same from me tbf. Good luck to him. I've no problem with him if he becomes the world's best defender, only that he was fucking shite with no obvious attributes for City, & shouldn't have been playing in our first team.

If I was the person who signed him for City, & was utterly convinced he would become G.O.D. as a defender, I would have backed my judgement & put a buy back clause in his contract.

Personally, if I had the money, I would still put it on him never being any use whatsoever in the Prem, & Arsene Wenger signing him wherever he ends up.
