Mario is definitely Palestine.

Barry is the best reader of the game
Watching his movements from the back of the Colin Bell stand tells you all you need to know.

Didn't he assit both goals yesterday?

Not surprisingly I disagree about Barry. I think he does a lot of going sideways, losing the ball and is too slow to make amends, leading him to foul. Adds little going forward and is part of the reason why we look so unadventurous. he is not going to get any quicker so needs replacing urgently.

No. He had a shot which was straight at the keeper for the first goal. Their keeper had a nightmare, let the ball bounce off him, Mario didn't stand about and stole the ball from the defender and did the rest on his own.

He did assist with the second. Brilliant 10 yard pass sideways to Milner.

Yaya just won't bother tracking the player, while Baz just climbs all over them to give away the free kick.

Top, top player. We look a far more vunerable team when he isnt around. Excellent calming influence on the others. If only he had a bit of pace i genuinely think he'd be one of the best holding midefielders in the game.

Cracking shot from Barry that had the keeper bamboozled, had no chance of holding it which led to Mario's again, excellent shots to put us in the lead. The intuitive second strike was amazing.

As for Milner's, a peach of a strike that was set-up by Barry's quick thinking, not allowing the oppo to push out.

Barry = Awesome.

Yaya does plenty of good things but shutting out space and sprinting to close players down are not included in them.

Covering left or right-back, doing the dirty stuff and generally being in the right place at the right time defensively has never been Yaya's forte.

I like the way Barry even cheats to stop their attack ........... and usually gets away with it.

The little nudges on the ball with his hands/arms, the walking through players that the referee never seems to see. I'd say it's all about the game, others may say he cheats.

Tomorrow I'm going to just watch Barry and see what you all are going on about...if I'm not too pissed....and as long as Garcia isn't playing. I can't take my eyes off that man!

Don't understand this obsession with holding midfielders at city, if you watch how they play, high possession and attacking football, all it does is slow us down in the final 3rd

Mmmmm....in that sentence, I think I might have used the word 'we' there.

Could this have been a slip of Freudian proportions ??

Best player so far this season. He is in the team to help win games eg Villareal last season. He gives the team shape. Without him you end up with a situation like via Ajax where you have four attackers and no service.

I don't know how his win % fares for City vs other players but for England they have won 62.2% when he plays and this is better than Bobby Moore at 62.0% #justsaying

In fairness he was referring to the 'holding midfielders' - or that's how I read it anyway.
