Thanks!!!!

Stream keeps freezing though, I think there's a lot of users.

Yeah I noticed that. Thanks for the suggestion but I've gone for a russian language lesson instead. Culture, can't beat that!

I went Romanian in the end - decent stream. Means I can focus on the play and not get distracted by wanker commentators.

Take off Dzeko for Tevez and push Aguero further up. Nasri will just frustrate again as he so often does in a City shirt

quite comfortable thought at having Carlos and Mario to come up fresh against worn opposition... happy days

Can i just say, Zabaleta is a proper diamond geezer.
When he leaves, i'm supporting his next team too.
Dzeko off, Tevez on please (sigh.)

Decent first half against a team supposedly one of our challengers for the title but we are just not incisive enough. Aguero's touch worse than Dzeko today and Edin has actually done quite a few good things. Same with Milner who is working his socks off and playing well subject to the final ball/decision.

Chelsea just haven't got at us bar those few seconds just before the break but we must get that goal as the longer it goes on the more I will worry.

The team is playing solidly but with a complete lack of purpose, it's been really really easy but we have failed to take advantage. The mistakes by Yaya and Nastasic near the end of the half show how easily we could give a goal away.

Too many times we are starting games in 3rd gear. We are a much superior side to Chelsea but we have just wasted 45 mins of almost complete dominance. One slip & we could blow 3 points against a vastly inferior team.

I would do the same. Dzeko has been anonymous. Yaya is a bigger worry, what's up with him?

We've had a good amount of possession which should leave chelsea a bit tired as the 2nd half goes on. Bring on Mario for the winner

Decent game so far, only a goal is what is missing.
Chelsea- not only Torres- are looking totally uninterested in the game....playing against the manager from the first game on.....

I think we've had the majority of play and what we've seen of Benitez is that he just doesn't want to give away a goal. Playing on the break I think they could look useful but we've cut them down every time.

Big Dave should've done better and so such Agureo but for me it's Zabaleta who is showing all the guile again. How many times as he turned defence in to attack?

More of the same in the second, just make sure we get a shot on target. Carlos would be superb in this game but he's got to come on soon or not at all.

Yaya is just doing the job he's been asked to do; help Barry totally crush Chelsea's midfield. It's worked so far. Dzeko has been ok imo. Aguero has been shite but he is always likely to score.

absolutely agreed. but that takes us to that borderline thread I started some days ago.
Military touch, sporting psychological aid, or whatever but despite indisputable class - and desire, I'd add - something is needed to spur their coolness.
unless we want think that the manager says them to start complacent... ;)

only little remark: wish Dzeko would have been prompted to stay more in the middle

Think Nastasic has been brilliant so far and kept the inept Torres in his pocket. Very good interceptions and reading play as well. and only 19!

Zabba shows again why hes a legend. Milner with good tackles and some good footwork, but has had the occasional brain fart when time to deliver

Excited for the 2nd!

Nastasic has been excellent but has rarely been tested. All the big defending is coming from Vinny & Zabba.

Dzeko played for the team IMO. Dropped the ball with his chest for Aguero, then 1-2 with Zaba, and at the end of the half excellently headed to set up Aguero, so we shohuld have at least score 1 goal out of it.

Aguero has been the one below expectations for me, but we'll see, it takes 1 minute to turn everything around.
The most important thing for a forward is speed of thought. Top players read the game.
